The question isn't "who would and at what power level," its "why would they fight?" They are both too goody goody to even get mad at each other.

Although, if they did have a friendly match its more fun to image Batman and Vegeta taking bets with each other on who's "best friend"(even though none of them will admit it) would win.

It's a bit hard to see in the last one (and it may not be pre-crisis actually), but that's Superman holding a black hole. With his hands.

Thankfully! He is way too overpowered and annoying, at least now he gets his ass handed to him every now and then. I still won't read his series though, I just don't like him.

Heck, in the current Superman arc several Kryptonians moved a freaking moon into New Krypton's orbit.

But yeah... Freeza, Cell and Buu can theoretically fly through space, too. And Goku can teleport anywhere in or out of the universe, assuming there's a ki. Gotenks and Buu can scream so loud that they rip a hole in space. Superman is definitely over the top, but it's not like these make any sense either.

This is why I can't stand reading Superman Comics.

I can ask the same with DB too like how can Buu destroy a Planet 10X over with no effort? I don't like Superman too much but I do think he can be a good character depending on how he is wittren into the story. Like All Star Superman which was a very comic book IMO.

I argee since them becoming friends would be a better match up then fighting. I think it would be funny seeing Vegeta becoming friends with Batman

As soon as Goku realized that Superman is the strongest being in his universe, he'd get so excited that he wouldn't stop bugging Supes for a match until he got one.

But no, neither one of them would have intent to kill. They'd have a friendly match, with Goku probably operating at SSj- or SSj2-level, and would both end up impressing each other greatly and becoming friends.

The thing about bringing up black holes is that we dont know how a DB character would react to one.

But anyway in all honesty NONE of us know the Full extent of any DB characters destructive capabilities, they're constantly keeping their ki under control when they fight, and even then its always stated that the planet would be destroyed.
