Watching the Final Bout one I noticed though that at the beginning Gokus hair seems to flip around, thought it was quite funny though it's still a pretty fine intro.

I'd go with Sagas or Budokai 3, I really liked both of these and can't stand the new CG animations.

I'm probably one of the only people who honestly likes the Sparking! openings. Particularly in Neo where Mirai Trunks slices through the asteroid field, only to find Turles, and instead of getting all serious and having a one sided "fight", He just smiles like he feels Oh-so-sorry for the guy and promptly slices him into bite-sized chunks.

Cracks me up every time.

Ultimate Battle 22, I'm a sucker for little character montages.

Gonna make a really sarcastic comment here because this guy totally understands what necroposting is.

OH! SHIT! Sorry, I had no idea that this thread qualified as dead. Most other forums I've been to have been smaller, so I'm not quite as familiar with thread revival, as there it's pretty much, WE GOT A POST! YAY!

Still, this does not excuse my behavior. I apologize and will try to rectify the problem in the future.

I don't get the sudden fascination with gravedigging. If it's done for a reason, it's just fine - I mean, you added to the discussion, right?
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Budokai 2. No contest for me. It's so nicely paced, it does a great job of showcasing a lot of the characters, and it's put against one of the best Dragonball songs there is.

Yeah, it all comes down to Budokai 2 and 3. Budokai 3 has the better theme song in my opinion, but 2 wins in the animation department.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.
Draws comics that may or may not have been blatantly inspired by Akira Toriyama's manga.

DBZ Budokai 2. Great animation, great theme song, great scenes, great fighting, great intro. :D

I like most the Final Bout one and then the Budokai 2......
Long before I played any PSX and PS2 game, The finest intro for me was from Super Butouden 3 and Super Saiya-jin Densetsu.....

Also I think that Budokai Tenkaichi intros are horrible
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

I would say Budokai 2, 3, Sagas, and Final Bout.

I would say Budokai 2. A snazzy song with flashy and fast-paced animation just makes it an entertaining opening. Now if only they would make another game with a 2D animated opening....

In all honesty, I have 2.

One, the opening to Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Specifically, Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Hearing that awesome rock BGM track play over a pretty cool animation? Sweet.

The other is in the Legacy Of Goku II. It was short, sweet, and simple, and that's why I liked it.

Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Kageyama's greatest contribution to DBZ.

Budokai 2 beats the shit out of B3 for two reasons.

-It has Vegetto.
-It does not have Broly.

Neither opening has ChiChi at all (despite B3 having Lunch, Oolong, Puar and Turtle? What the hell!) therefore neither can be truly great.

Final Bout looked like what DBGT should have looked like; the perfect GT style.
