I'll be blunt, I only ever visit Daizenshuu EX and the Temple 'O' Trunks. Basically, the rest of the DB community is pretty messed up.

I've spent most of my time on team pages in the Megaman community, but I've noticed over the years, many DB websites with flashy layouts and pointless tag lines such as "this is your saiyan destiny" are all the same with little varying content.

And please don't get me started on "affiliation" as they all seen to have dozens of "affiliates" despite that they don't even know what the word means and I thought affiliation was something were a few webmasters were friends and started a sort of group on their site(s).

But I want to talk about animations and sprites. Someone had created loads of unique custom sprites and animations from scratch, then thousands of idiot webmasters steal them and there is hardly any credit being given in this community. Someone spent all that time ripping sprites, emulating and designing all this original stuff that almost everyone has gone and took it all for themselves.

There is much more that I could rant about, such as "free full dragonball gt episode downloads" and power levels.

Afterall, this is just my two cents. I want to see your thoughts.

Believe it or not, many of those thoughts have been what some of us have been thinking since 1999.

Someone mentioned my attack guide as a good source but I would be quick to point out it has some gaps and plenty of spelling errors. It was based on the Dai guide but it can therefore only be as good as the original which although damn good, still has its share of hiccups.

The DB community as a whole still seems to be overrun with rumors of Akira Toriyama being dead (this time by a car accident) and that AF is coming soon. I honestly don't remember what the DB community was like before all of this since I was a fan brought in by the dub.
It was nice, I remember those days when I was on dialup hunting for Japanese db z gt clips ;)
Son-Gohan had awesome clips, and this italien site too, I ended up buying a CD full of clips and stuff that guy made, i still have it lol, just made clips of DBGT etc in vcd quality when it was fresh as thing air ;P).
Lots of quality sites (at least how I remember them :)
Planet namek was great for newsupdates, and super5.com awesome for full 80kb dbz rm eps, I watched like 100 of those :D

Then there was this site selling anime labs stuff, overprized.
Luckily, i found people that traded vhs copies of these, heh.

I don't really have much need to visit other sites  I usually find everything I need here. I have searched though and come across sites like secret saiyan or DaBlackGoku (I really like the .gif's there) but nothing compares to a quality site which has been thout about thoroughly. :) I probably only think like this 'cause I'm on dial-up and I don't really look for many eps or even clips.

He has male traits! For Kami's sake, why put such images in my head? What's next, "Disco Frieza: Kamesennin's Passionate Extraterrestial Lover"

Hmmm....is that where Kuriza came from? I mean the "K" in his name and the chestnut head. Come on now, that links to Kuririn because Kamesennin and Kuririn believed in shaving their head. Kuririn comes from Chestnut Temple. It all makes sense....

.....I feel sick....

I'm pretty sure that was an early action figure. He came with a rocket launcher too.

Now Alias, if we're starting to use biology here, then you also have to state that Piccolo also isn't female. He's asexual, which means he has no sexual desires, neither does he have any need to engage in any sexual acts for the purpose of procreation.

You're right, lol.
Doesn't gohan say something about Piccolo being like a father or something? That points towards being male  . Oh yeah, stay on topic.

Cmon, if Piccolo had to be classified then he would be a male. He is about 6 foot seven, built like a tank, has a very gruff voice, and has male facial features. Even his driving instructor (Female) was flirting with him.

Oh back on topic, uh what's the deal with AF? I mean when did that rumor come out? In my opinion, the DragonBall community is actually expanding because of the Budokai games and the GBA games. I really don't think that it can get any better.

As already stated, Piccolo is not male nor female. Despite his male qualities or his paternal effect on Son Gohan, his race does not need to reproduce through gender-associated procreation.

Who knows? I remember hearing that rumor for the first time like 4 or 5 years ago, I'm surprised it's still floating around and there are still people who believe it. The AF rumor could have been going around for even longer than that maybe.
