No that makes sense. I remember hearing that Clarke left FUNimation, and I know for a fact that he won't be returning to voice Scar in Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.JulieYBM wrote:I'm pretty sure that is still Dameon Clarke voicing Cell (unless the credits don't mention Clarke or his psuedonym, Dartarian Nickelback).
I saw Raging Blast at the store today and almost bought it, but instead I opted for Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City. It was cheaper and I knew I'd play it longer.

Same thing happened to me. Went in the store and I only ended up paying $43.00, so I had about a good $10.00 left. Used it to reserve Assassin's Creed 2. I'm guessing it's a limited time promotion at Gamestop for pre-orders. I inputted the code for the special download pack and ended getting a good amount of characters unlocked. A majority of the What-If stories were available too, but I'm guessing that's just part of the game.NekoSayajinZ wrote:When I went for the game, it was 49.99 on the sticker, but apparently the store had a special discount to about 43.00.
So far, like EX said, the camera is horrible. Even worse than what I played from the demo. It doesn't help that the CPU can be annoying at times even at the normal difficulty when the camera is just jiggling back and forth. There's a lot of What-If material here too. I giggled at the "Strongest Human" and "Audition" What-Ifs. Those were great. Raging Blast is pretty much Sparking 2.5. I certainly enjoy it more than NEO but it's not close to METEOR's perfection of the gameplay style. One step forward, two steps back certainly applies here, but the What-If stories and Online might be worth checking the game out or considering a purchase for since it's $50.00 at some places, so it's not a bad deal at all. I got it for $40.00 and I'm overall satisfied despite a problem or two.
I know some people were inviting me for some online matches and I'll definitely get around to that. The invites are welcome.

Has that ever been confirmed? The guys who do the credits for the games are pretty terrible (just ask Kyle Hebert).bkev wrote:It very well may be Sabat. I got it from Gamestop (in CT) and paid $44.99, So, $49.99 considering the $5 I had down for the pre-order.
The slightly cheaper price almost made up for the rage that the dick who took my Modern Warfare 2 pre-order put me down for the regular game when I clearly said "Hardened Edition."
Thoughts on Raging Blast after I finish MW2...

To show my appreciation, I'll only beat them half to death.
As a fan of the Buu saga, I have to say I am glad that the entire Buu saga is there. Not that I know if it the storymode is done in a bad or good manner...VegettoEX wrote:No. I've been playing Raditz through at least Cell (if not Buu) non-stop, year-after-year, since 2002 and the first Budokai game (and plenty of games before that).sangofe wrote:I guess you snore because you wanted the DB story to be included? Do we really need this in every freakin' game every freakin' year?
These "What-If?" storylines have so much potential... aaaaaarghhh... you'll hear more about it from me soon...

Hot off the presses, we have the IGN review of DragonBall: Raging Blast (360 version).
There's a lot to agree with in terms of the game being something of a step back for the series, but I'm more for seeing what DaizEX comes up with in terms of review. Gotta have that extra perspective of DragonBall fandom to really sync things up.

IGN's review is more or less what I was expecting from playing the demo. I'm glad to see that they also picked up on the unresponsive controls.
Still, I'll pick it up when I can get it under $20.
And I'm looking forward to the forthcoming Daizenshuu EX review, just to see if Mike has anything different to say.

Ack! Pressure!
Well, my (extensive) intro is basically done, and I've already written up a bunch about the general game stuffage...
Even though I'm only two hours in, a lot of that is easy to write about. It's the gameplay stuff that's going to take a lot more time before I get some detailed thoughts down. While it would be awesome to have it done for the weekend, I make no guarantees. After all, I don't get paid to sit and home and play video games... ^_~
I want to get it out while it's still relevant, though...
*cough*... What's that? Am I feeling a little sick...? Oh no, I might have to work from home the rest of the week...

I'd offer insight like last time (because it was just plain fun, if nothing else), but this isn't exactly a "weighty" subject that touches on our common fandom on the whole a la the massive Feature that practically demanded second, third and fourth opinions/perspectives in order to get it worded just right. I doubt that you'll need any extra help . . . this time. ^_^;
You're a skilled writer; I'm sure it'll be great. Take your time, an' all! Even doing a #2 requires that you sit on the toilet and take a moment, right?

Just got home, have the 360 version.
I'll take on the Saiyan Saga then decimate some guys online 'cause bitches ain't got dat shine.
EDIT: Hahahaha! The Special Beam Cannon gets renamed when Goku grabs the opponent to "Full Nelson Special Beam Cannon." I know it's probably a coincidence, but it's still funny.

Someone wanna refresh my memory, especially since I played through all three Sparking! games in Japanese...?
How were the "What-If?" battles handled? They were all a part of the story arc they would otherwise be placed in, right? Like the "Raditz is good for a while" story... that was selectable through the Saiya-jin arc in the game, right? Or was there a game that had all its "What-If?" stories in a separate menu?
They're all blending together in my head.
Obviously this is related to Raging Blast since it has its own "What-If?" storyline arc entirely independent of the other arcs, and I'm comparing them all

Yeah, I could have sworn that one of the recent ones actually separated it out. Thanks.JulieYBM wrote:In METEOR the story mode had a 'What-If' saga, where each What-If was it's own fight/mission/level.
