Is there any indication that Ocean group will release dvds?

Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.

They would never come out on DVD but if they did, it would be nice to own maybe one arc.
I feel the same way, and I think its because during the first two season Vegeta was more menacing so the raspy evil voice fit perfectly. Once the cell saga took off he wasn't as evil, just really pissed off so Brian Drummond's voice felt off to me. It could also be that there was a long gap before AB group hired Ocean to do the Cell and Buu arc and he just lost his groove.

As for an Ocean voices release, its not going to happen anytime soon, at least not here in America. Funimation has the distribution rights and they are going to use their own voices.

Hell, I'm not even sure if AB can release the whole ocean cast on DVD over in Europe. As far as I'm aware, they don't have the rights to the entire series(just the cell and buu arc), but I could be wrong.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

The latter.

Anyone should still be able to find this set if they look hard enough. I would reccommend it somewhat, since the movies weren't really effed with.

I have the movies themselves but, surprisingly, I don't have the box that they came in if they were all bought together. With my liking those discs so much I should probably get around to getting the boxset version.

Umm.... no.

No, no, no, nonononono! ...just ....no.

Ebay is a terrible place to buy DVD's, let alone Dragonball DVD's, let alone out-of-print box sets Dragonball DVD's.

Here, let me show you. :P *digs up the past*

Yup. Good times. This was after I paid for a DBZ action figure that never got sent too iirc.

I have never had a problem with purchases in the 10 years I've been using ebay. And if I ever did I would just get a refund through ebay/paypal. In fact I got one of the box sets of the Pioneer Ocean dub a couple months ago and everything was fine. But that is just my experience.

Thank you for reminding me of my incredibly shitty luck.

Some people have perfectly fine luck with ebay, others don't. I've had very few purchases on ebay that didn't have some sort of problem. Amazon on the other hand, has only let me down once. (Ordered Pirates of the Caribbean 2, but it came with the Special Features disc for PotC 1)

eBay's never given me a problem and I've been using it since about 2003. I just make sure to check up on the reputation of the seller before I choose to buy.

Wow, I wish they were that cheap when I got mine! I think mine was around $20. Damn price fluctuations, and stupid people thinking they're worth enough to sabotage if the price didn't go as high as their imagined reservation.

I've been using it since 2004-ish, and I've had lots of problems. Plenty from sellers with 99-100% reputation. Recently, I bought two things. One came perfectly fine, as described. The other? Never came, and I had to get a refund... this was after they told me to go check my mail.

Dragonball-related, I've had one good purchase. I bought the 3 PS1 games, and they all came fine. It was from an ebay store based in Phoenix though, that was owned by a videogame store that I used to buy things in years ago.

Also, Pioneer/Ocean related, I also bought the Saiyan Conflict DVD box set off of ebay. The seller got the DVD's mixed in with a Namek Saga box he also sold off, so I had to contact the buyer of that boxset and send him the DVD's myself. (Ebay doesn't let you see who bought what anymore... I can't imagine trying to resolve something like that nowadays) Also, the box itself was torn along the top and bottom corners. Like, all the way across. So it didn't hold DVD's anymore. That wasn't in the description. :?

Ok... I'm gonna stop now. Too many bad thoughts coming back.

I don't suppose I could have your old Tree of Might when you get the new ones, could I?

Can't hurt to ask.

If I have the money to buy the boxset, I'll let you know. After I actually have the boxset in my hands, we'll work something out. Mainly I'd just want you to pay for shipping and save you the $2 you'd have to pay on Amazon.

Age of Wonder has some good songs and some bad. Special Zenkai Power for example. It's a weird song to begin with though...
Has anyone found clips of this dub? Whoa... they dubbed Mezase Tenkaichi?
Boom! That's totally my video!! :D

Also, does anyone else think of the "Jackson 5" whenever they hear the Age of Wonders' version of Zenkai Power?

That's good. That's the official product then. ^_^

It's definitely a better idea to buy it from Ebay. On Amazon, you might end up with the bootleg digipack release. And trust me, you don't want it. I owned the bootleg at first, and a couple of the discs barely worked. When navigating the menu, it acted like a lagging computer. Also, the DVD player made a terrible noise when playing them. And the discs would always fall out of the disc slots.

I eventually bought the official version and now have problem-free discs.
