@Yuugi -
I'm pretty sure the first 2 season boxes are Pioneer and then Funimation started making the rest.
Aside from those first 2; all of them are uncut and all are in the box casings [that actually came with one] aside from babidi saga b/c I couldnt find a box for the uncut version.
And then I actually DO have a few sealed DragonBall VHS - 4 out of 5 of the Red Ribbon Saga.

I have so many tapes, here. There is a store near me that buys VHS tapes. Maybe they can buy the tapes for $1 a piece that would be good, and I have others I don't need as well....LeprikanGT wrote:Have you tried taking them to an actual store? I know they might be hard to sell online but we have a store around here that has a whole VHS section that buys used stuff.

Next quest: Start collecting Dragon Ball Super Blu-Rays whenever season sets get released. Also the Super Manga!

I recently bought the original Pioneer DVD releases. I'm gonna get the first set soon. I've come to the conclusion that the only DBZ DVD's I want are the DragonBoxes and the original 1997 dub...
Why do I have three DragonBoxes? Well cause I had pack one up to ship out to someone, so I'm down to three.

Here's my latest arrival:
DragonBall MegaHouse Capsule Neo Return of Cell
Here's some comparisons with the older Cell release: (old release on the left, new series on the right)
I actually like the original series more than the NEO release. The sculpts are a bit better on the newer versions but the decrease in size of the scenes at the same price point really hurts these in my opinion.

The stack of Dragon Boxes is impressive, but some how I think I'm more jealous of the Pioneer Namek boxeset...I always thought that the slip cases for those first two Pioneer boxsets+Movie boxsets were always so pretty, but back when they were in production they were too expensive for a middle class teenager like I was+my parental unit never saw a point to how much a cartoon could be to buy me them.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:I recently bought the original Pioneer DVD releases. (And now....oh gawd, it's tempting....goddamn you Amazon Marketplace, stop tempting me with good deals+some sellers offering free Prime shipping...)

Wow, the nose on that newer Goku... am I the only one who noticed how odd it looks?
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
