I conveniently have all 42 Viz manga on my shelf and I just grab a random volume and begin reading. It's awesome.
I think we have the same game plan! It's just that I also have the original Tankoubon, too.

I see four episodes a week (two on Thursdays, two on Fridays), and watch one of the Z-movies every two weeks, all via my orange bricks. Two weeks from now, I'll be up to movie 9, while this Thursday I'll be on the season 8 orange brick on disc 2 or 3.

Rarely. I haven't watched Dragon Ball for a while since the Jump Special. I need to get on to watching Kai soon, because I haven't had the time lately. I'll watch the odd clip of Dragon Ball on Youtube occasionally, though.

I don't have the Dragon Boxes or any of Dragon Ball on DVD, unfortunately. 'Til I find a way to get my hands on them, I'll make do with the manga. Not like the manga's worse than the anime or anything, but I've read each volume, like, about a billion times. It's still fun to read them, though. :D

Oh yeah, and guys, where can I get these new Dragon Boxes anyway?

Two years, about. Not counting watching short clips on Youtube or when making AMVs.

Now, the last time I read part of the manga was oh...three hours ago.

One episode every 3 days.

(during the other days I watch other anime)

I recently finished DB in Japanese for the first time and I just started DBZ in Japanese for the first time.

And as an added bonus: it's Dragonbox quality.
Goku: "Look Vegeta! People popcorn!"
Vegeta: "What is he on?"

Is your viewing of one episode every three days of Z so that you can make your viewing experience longer, or are you just busy during the days before your next showing?

For the people that are saying they watch it everyday I've got a question: How do you do it? I mean, how do you watch something you've already seen most likely several times already? Doesn't it lose it's enjoyability after a while?

For me, I can only watch the same movie so many times before it becomes unbearable and it really applies to everything else too. I can't sit through the show or read the manga anymore because knowing what's going to happen at all times just isn't very fun.

Nah, for me, I can read something I like pretty much forever. In fact, I only buy things I know I'll get tons of replay value out of. If I can only watch it / experience it once then I don't consider it very good.

I actually enjoy the second viewing of something quite a lot. It's a more mellow experience than the first time around, there's a comfortable sort of familiarity with knowing what will happen and how long things will last (Like, if I watched the first episode of Dragon Ball, I could think "Okay, I enjoy the relationship between Goku and Bulma. I'm glad that element will still be running strong during the second episode, and the third, and the fourth, and every episode up through at least the thirteenth."), and there's some things that manage to strike you the second time around with the whole series as your perspective that never could have during the first. I'm not sure whether I can read or watch things indefinitely, though. The most I've ever watched a single series is three or four times (School Days), the most I've ever read a manga is twice (Ranma).

Same here. I don't really own a whole lot of things. I just like to get things that I'll not get tired of for a really long time.

I didn't get tired of it after the first time, I've seen it over quite a few times, but it's gotten to the point where it's like I've got it down so well that there isn't any point in watching it anymore. By no means am I saying I know everything about Dragonball, but the really little stuff I was missing that maybe I would pick up on by watching it again just don't provide enough of an incentive.

As long as I space out my viewing, I can rewatch DB/Z.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Yeah I guess I should've mentioned that too. My space out periods are few and far between though, probably once every few years or so.

It's the same for me. It's been two years since I've seen these Saiyan era episodes so it's easier to watch for me.

Spacing it out really helps me with filler episodes. There are certain filler episodes I will always hate (Bulma and the crab) and certain filler episodes I will always love (the driving episode) but for other things like the Saiyan arc filler and the pre-Cell Game filler I've a newfound appreciation for them as long as I don't get to see them too often.
