Dragonball Sagas
Has there been any news on the game "Dragonball Sagas" other than what Atari had announced?

I really haven’t hear very much about it, (from other sources , I mean).

You can watch a little clip of a animated intro scene in the game found on this link.

How did you get it? Travelling 2 month forward in time?Mike D wrote:In the April 2005 issue of the Shonen Jump they have a short article about it.
Anyway, the intro you see will reflect all cutscenes in the game; basically meaning we're getting digitally painted anime cutscenes which range from Saiyan's Saga - Cell Saga.
Also, Broli is in it.

Did you know those little skeleton android things that you fight in the game were actually seen in the anime. I don't remeber what episode exactly, but if you have "The World Of Dragonball" they are the very last thing you see before the credits.
"The World Of Dragonball" Is on the "Bardock: Father Of Goku" DVD and some others, as an extra.

The only way Sagas could compare to Legends is letting you completely destroy the Morlock's lair. My friends and I seriously went around breaking EVERYTHING while singing "Fuck the Moooooorlocks, FUUUUUUCK THE MORLOOOOOOCKS!" It was awesome.
But yeah. Sagas. It doesn't seem unique or interesting beyond the Dragon Ball license, but if combat is interesting I may give it a rental. Japanese voices would help sway me though.

I guess I'm not the only one who enjoyed wrecking the sewers. XD It's also fun destroying the mansion in the Juggernaut flashback or in the Danger Room. Seriously, it's just great when you're bored. Especially if you have Gambit or Jubilee and having them charge the walls and stuff so everything blows up at once.
But we're severely off-topic, so, uhm..
Yay, potentially good video game?

You know what would have been awesome? The ability to smash up the mansion during the interludes and the ability to smash up the NPC morlocks.Mizugi wrote:The only way Sagas could compare to Legends is letting you completely destroy the Morlock's lair. Uh, yeah, Saga's. Looks interesting.
... Maybe later.

Based on what they have shown of this game so far, I doubt it. The only thing that really made me excited was the intro...I really like original animation.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i think sagas will be a great game it could even give the budokai games a run for their money
