Well, if they're putting their own background music into the movies, then they're definitely not keeping the insert songs. At least, they didn't at any point in the series when there was an insert song, so I doubt they'll do it here.

Unless of course, they decide to use the original music. If they were able to the first time around, doesn't that mean they still own the rights to it?

But the insert songs in the series just randomly replaced the BGM at times AFAIK, so it wasn't much of a problem to replace those. Whereas the movie 1 and 2 songs just need to be there, or it'd just be plain weird.

Rach you beat me to it. I was just gonna mention the YYH song she did. She actually tours with a country group or something. Her site mentions something about it. But yeah at this point, Faulconer's stuff is just getting annoying.

Sorry for the bump, but I figured what I have to say would fit better here than simply making a new thread. When they get to "Tree of Might", in what way will they address the Haiya Dragon? Since the other movies and the show took after the TV version and called him Icarus, do you think they'll follow suit, or do like the old video/dvd dub and call him Higher Dragon?

I don't know, but the "character's" name is actually "Haiyaa Dragon," which is closer to "Chauffeur Dragon" than anything else. ("Haiyaa" comes from "hire," which refers to a paid driver.)

But then again, "Icarus" is just making shit up, so I suppose I wouldn't mind "Higher Dragon" either.

Makes sense: all Gohan did was have the dragon fly him around. Once Gohan's training resulted in him being faster than the dragon, Haiyaa Dragon disappeared from the series. :P

On the Heros Legacy DVD the top 10 craziest fights had the Tienshinhan VS Saiybamen fight. The music they had playing during it seemed alright. It was very low key and not in your face. Hopefully the'll leave that.
