Raging Blast 2 Hints From Namco?
Namco has recently posted a link to a survey about this game, one of the questions was
*10. After playing Dragonball: Raging Blast, please rate your level of interest in the following:
More than 120 selectable characters.
Basically RB2 could have 120 players if they get a good enough response.
It also had: New original characters for the game.
Meaning we could get more what-if characters in RB2 if theres a good response in the survey.
Another question also addressed this:
21. If there was a sequel to this game, which of the following would you prefer be included/added the most? Please select your favorite choice.
Increase in character count
More variety in costumes for characters
More character customizations
A new story mode
More online modes
More interactive environments
Larger playing fields
More special moves
Basically Namco is asking your opinion of their game and what do you want in a sequel, all those who complained about the character amount on RB should vote for the 120 thing.

Also Namco opened up DBZ Community called Goku's Corner.
Whats suspicious about this is the fact that whenever they open sites through enclave they have upcoming games coming to advertise and be that site focus seeing as the site last a year(can be renewed for continuation) I doubt they would waste all that money just for Raging Blast and those other two games and thats not trend they have been doing, basically they support a current release then around January/February announce a new game through that site. They also announce games sometimes around June/July. All I am saying is that they wouldn't open a site through enclave unless that have upcoming games to promote for the next year into the summer.
the only time they didn't follow this was when they made a site for Soul Calibur 4 due to how rare they come out with games and Dragon Quest but Dragon Quest was handled by Square Enix. Due to the frequency we get DBZ games they may go the Naruto route.

Could this be a early hint of RB2 or another dbz game?

Eh, this is Dragon Ball we're talking about. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say we'll have a sequel (to this or Burst Limit) within the next year or two.

What makes it better is that means they will offer the game free through the site like they have done with the others. All you "milk the franchise" morons can shut up now(sorry just blowing steam) I doubt them giving their games away is milking.Big Momma wrote:Eh, this is Dragon Ball we're talking about. I really would like for them to include the entire franchise instead of just 4 arcs. That shit is really getting old with me and is one of the reasons I won't be purchasing Raging Blast. Not to mention I'd like more What If stories.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Well it's a good thing they're trying to get a feel for what people want in the next game.

My suggestion was primarily a new story mode that centralizes itself on What-Ifs. Aside from not being a fighting game, the Dragon Ball games desperately need them. Expansive, open-world environments are a welcome too. And I really don't care whether or not there's more characters, METEOR pretty much was the limit for me.

I am so happy they did this. I hope they really listen to what people wrote. I congratulated them for adding "what-if characters" and a great online mode.
I also brought up the poor camera and suggested that they take from Super Dragonball Z and improved upon it for the next game. Seriously, the way they implemented the open environment yet kept to a traditional fighter at the same time was just beautiful.
I would like to see a new style of Dragonball games outside of fighters, but every time they try to do something different it turns out mediocre.

...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Why not? The Dragonball series has always had a huge following of fan-fiction and junk; everyone has had an idea for their own character at one point or another. And it's pretty much the foundation for Dragonball Online.Rocketman wrote:I hope that this never, ever happens.Hellspawn28 wrote:Create a character
If anything, I'd say it's almost inevitable.

Dragon Ball online has pretty much a create a character thing. I think a game much like Jump Superstars or MK vs. DC would sell better and be a better idea then a RB 2 in my opinion.
Well for me, when I playing RB I feel like that I'm just getting tired of these games. More I play them, the more I get tried of them.Seconded..... I'm annoyed as much as possible
