Problem with installing MIRC for chat.
I have just obtained the MIRC version 6.16 from the official site, and I have a problem installing it. The install package freezes once the meter hits 100%. I have to use the task manager to end the program.
Normally I wouldn't mention this here, but several people I know, have had this exact same problem. I was wondering if anyone here encountered this, and if they have any tips for solving it. The official site does not have any previous versions I can roll back to, save one used specifically for Windows 3.1.

Get old versions of mIRC from there. ^_^
EDIT: The reason mIRC 6.04-6.11 aren't listed is because they had an exploit in them.

I believe the row of button's bellow the horizontal scroll bar looks similar to that, in FireFox (image of 'Mozilla' browser buttons.) Each button is a different utility, the first is to open a new browser, the second for Mail and News Groups, the third for the Composer, the fourth is the Address Book, and finally the fifth written as 'cZ' is ChatZilla.
If this is not there, you should be able to find it via the "Window" menu item, where the icon 'cZ' might appear half way down next to the text "Irc Chat" or just press Ctrl+6, and your problems should be solved.

Firefox doesn't have those icons, because it's meant to be a standalone browser. So it doesn't come with ChatZilla. However, there is a ChatZilla extension for Firefox that can be installed.
I haven't used the extension personally, so I can't vouch for it, but I did use ChatZilla a few times when I used Mozilla regularly, and it seemed pretty nice. I'd probably recommend it more if it were standalone, since not everyone uses Mozilla.
