I don't think anyone was expecting a multi-editor video without effects, but if they were gonna use effects, they should've used them effectively. Atleast IMO I thought they weren't effective. Just something I thought I'd add so you don't think people are just pointlessly complaining about effects. :O
Just a vid that's fun to watch from time to time.

This is one of the best dbz videos I've seen, largely in part because it was done by people who actually know how to edit. Sandstorm is a little played out, but it doesn't matter because it fit perfectly. Excellent choices of scenes, and I liked the way the androids' numbers appeared on screen with the kanji.
Good job to all involved.

Man, this video is crazy. The effects are cool. It could easily become one of the greatest DBZ music videos ever created. The only thing that killed it was the part where Goku turns super saiyan on Frieza. The pictures that were cut look so dumb. Besides that, this video rules!!!

I think the black and whie Cell part worked well, where Gohan exploded it into colour when he went SSJ2. Also, the part with the frog in the corner of the Ginyu part. XD I never noticed that before.
The thing that made it so good, is that it's not repetative, is because more then one person worked on it. So all the editors put their own style into the video, i thought that was pretty cool.

My ONLY complaint about the video is that I think After Effects was used way too much. Some of the effects just looked cheap. Like the whole Trunks arc looked terrible. I hate that "volume turning up" effect used. And I'm gonna have to agree, Goku going SSJ did seem a bit off. Same with the black and white Cell Games. It made the source footage seem bad. But as far as straight action videos, it is the best one I have ever seen. And for a DBZ action video, that's saying something. I didnt go into it expecting it to tell me a story, or be moved by it. Wich I'm guessing deftubus did, for some strange reason.
Id give it an 8.5/10,
I wouldve given it a 10 if I wasnt dissapointed by some of the tracks.

Ooh, I like!
I was blown away when I saw it, and it has become one of my favorite amvs.
I can't think of anything about it I didn't like ... I especially loved the Goku/Vegeta face-off, 50 seconds in.

The ending worked well for me, having it end on a calm note. It's like through the whole video its just utter madness with the battles and the flashes and everything is thrown at your face at such great speed, then at the end its all calm like peace is finally restored after all those battles, you can rest easy.
Well, that was my interpretation of it.

I can't really think of one thing that was bad in this video. The effects & editing were really nice. I also thought the ending was good. Peace was restored after 8 minutes worth of constant battles. It just seemed to be a fitting & perfect ending

. The ending credits were also a real treat. I loved the "Miracle ZENKAI Power " re-mix

.

I liked the video, but it's not my favorite. The constant special effects got on my nerves after a while, but overall, a very good DBZMV!

A piece like this takes hard-workers, talent, and dedication (which is what you all obviously have). I have never seen an AMV this great. Not only did it sync well with the music, but the effects put a whole different look and feel to the project. Doomrider went through the whole series of DragonBall Z in under 10 minutes without removing anything vital to the storyline. I loved it and I am waiting to see what awards it will win.

Great job. You couldn't have done much better than that; I wasn't expecting such fast-paced theme, but I really enjoyed it. Overall the effects were awesome, and the song was perfect.

Great video. In contrary to many other visitors, I liked how the SSJ scene was handled.(Goku's) It really made an impact with those big bangs in the music. (no pun intended)

Hello, all. This is my first post here on these forums, but I've been around for awhile.
I've got to say that I really love everything about the project. I'd like to go into detail about it all, but I can't find a way to put it more clearly and simply than that. ^_^
I have a question though. Is it an entirely different song from the Cell arc onward? I just really like that part of the music and was wondering what the name of it was... and maybe of a place where I could get it... (unless that's a bad thing >< )
Thanks to any who can help, and good job again on the project.

Actually, piccorotto, if you listen really closely, you'll still here the shadow of the Sandstorm "chorus" (for lack of a better word). It's just a fancy remix.
Anyway, I think this is the best DBZ AMV ever made (although that carries as much weight as saying Budokai is the best video game, but I mean this in a very positive way). I never expected it to be so heavily amped up! The inversions, the Ginyu icons, the black and white, the Android's kanji, and my favorite: the Cell Jr. count. Love it, love it, love it. There has never been a video like this before. You compressed 145 1/2 hours of footage into 10 minutes. That's seriously got to be a world record.
Of course, I hope you know that this means a DB Doomrider and a DBGT Doomrider (which SHOULD include the Uub arc of DBZ) needs to be made. Get back to work!
To a strong man, the end justifies the means. To a stronger man, the means justify the end.

I lovingly refer to this video "the Dragon Ball Z seizure," but I mean it in a good way. Yes, it's definally worthy of the title "DBZ in a Nutshell."
I like the idea, timing, how all the sagas sort of blended into each other a little bit at a time. I like the thought put into it, only the things that were important were put in (although Videl and Goten learning to fly wasn't all that important, but it was a sort of "cooling down" point in the video.) I like the humorous parts, like the Ginyu Force at a bottom corner, the "Cell Jrs Counter," and also that weird bit with Dende randomly popping out of the side of the screen. The whole thing was just amazing, man. All of you guys did an immensely terrific job on the whole thing.
What's scarier than a DBZ H-game?

the music video itself is great... editing, effects, pacing... all well done. however, you chose to use "Sandstorm," an awful techno song. i mean, seriously, if you took this long to make it you could've put a little more thought into the song you wanted to use. sorry but all that effort just seems wasted.

Is that...I think it is...YES!!
Look everyone. It's the capslock button. Right here on the side. I wonder when that appeared there.
Wow. I am getting sarcastic lately.
But anyway, I just downloaded that. It's been there for a while but I never thought of downloading it. I am glad I did. That was great!!

Please type properly.
You agreed to do so.
The song choice wasn't an afterthought. We went through dozens of songs and deliberations before arriving at a final decision. And with the song, we chose to do a custom mix of it (with some crazy variations throughout it), rather than a straight, "radio-mix" style of the song.
I'm sorry you hold that against the project, but to each their own.
