Legacy of Goku 1 stinks. It can't believe it sold 1 million copies. I can't believe I wasted my allowance on it. Legacy of Goku 2 was pretty decent, though.

The first game was ok, but it was nice to see a new DBZ game at the time. The second one was like "Holy Crap! This is a huge improvement over the first it's not even funny". The second one was tons of fun, and the 3rd was good but it was too easy. I was able to beat Kid Buu without losing the first time.

I had no idea there was a third one. Does that one cover the Buu sagas?

Yeah. There's a lot more to do in it than in LoG 2, but outside of that, it's mostly the same game.

You were probably unaware of LoG 3 because it wasn't called LoG 3. They dropped that LoG title & went with Buu's Fury instead.

Oh yeah, I'm vaguely familiar with that.

Here are the problems I had with the game:
  • 01- Goku is the only playable character in the game, when it's everyone else who did most of the fights.
02- No cutscenes. It made the game fell awkward with the pacing.
03- Goku's physical attacks barely makes a damage and doesn't connect well.
04- Special attacks are shitty made. The Qi blast is weak, The Taiyoken is cheap, and the Kamehameha, oh the Kamehameha... it's even worse than the Qi blast! And the worst, he learns it from Kaio, instead of learning the Kaioken!!!
    05- Goku dies a lot!!!
If it was not with the unlimited health cheat, I would never EVER be able to finish it!

And thank God, the sequels were way better.

Trying my hardest to avoid 4chan greentext... but are you implying a GBA game is supposed to be filled with cinematic cutscenes? A the most, you just get sprites with textboxes. This is not limited to LoG. You might as well say, "I don't like RPGs on the GBA."

Not like that, but when I play an RPG or any game with story, I expect times when I stop controling of the character and seeing interactions between the characters and actions they do at some moments.

But in LOG, you have to walk and talk to everyone to get what's going on. Gamers who are not familier to the story of the show ((if any)) might get confused over what's going on without proper story play.

Not gonna lie, I played LOG for a good 30 minutes and couldn't get off Roshi's island on the first level.

The first Legacy of Goku was really bad (in my personal opinion), it was just to difficult to play. The enemies were to powerful and difficult to defeat, that it made leveling almost impossible or rare, because even the easiest enemies were too hard, which was really off putting in my case. Also, I died a lot in that game, and I couldn't stand hearing Goku's annoying yell every time he dies, which also put me off the game. I finally gave up on playing the game when I was trying to defeat the Ginyu Tokusentai.

Even though I didn't like the first game, I enjoyed the second and third games a lot more.
