Final Bout?
A small revision.

Any company that actively seeks fans' opinions rather than seemingly taking shots in the dark. And learns from past mistakes.
So you don't care about the fans' opinions, only your own. But since this sounds selfish you hide it under a blanket of "if they only listened to the fans", meaning you.

Yeah, I've got your number, buddy.

For Dragonball? Then we'd get a Budokai clone with 40 Gokus, 50 Vegetas, 400 Brolis and a Piccolo.
Yeah, game developers listening to the fans has never turned out well, because fans always want more of the same shit.

This is true. You cannot desire something that you have never imagined. Right now, most fans only want fighting games because they have only seen fighting games. They don't know about Advanced Adventure, Origins, and ROKP because they don't like the original DB. The only other stuff they have to go on are the Legacy of Goku games and Sagas, both of which are shit.

Of course, recently Attack of the Saiyans has opened the eyes of some, but I fear that if it gets too popular, the flood of bad fighting games will be replaced by a flood of bad RPGs*.

*Not that AOTS is bad, but if they try to imitate it too much we could end up with some terrible games.

As far as I know, Midway is still working on MK:9, which, from what I've heard, might be coming out next year. But honestly I would love to see a DB game that pays tribute to the series' extremely violent moments. If it had to be an adventure game I'd go with Capcom because God Hand was awesome. It would just need to be bigger; Open World perhaps. Plus I know it would have its funny moments, story wise.

What? Mortal Kombat 9 puts you in the role of a Witch? This is news to me!

Again, Midway has gone bump. It's now WB with the MK licence.

Last thing I want is Nintendo to make the game themselves(not like it would happen). When it comes to fighting games they know jack-shit and the last thing we need is for them to make two different games(I can see it now Vegeta Blue and Goku Orange) so that the only way for you to collect all seven Dragonballs is if you buy both versions.

I like the way Dimps handles the games, yes they stick to just fighting games when it comes to the series but they take liberties with the story mode so no two games are the same. If its a non fighter game then I chose Platinum games, most of those guys are from Clover Studio and they did a kick ass job with God Hand; Mad World was fun too(aside from being black and white only).
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

I really don't understand how you reached that conclusion based on what I said. But, just for clarification... While it is true that I would like to see certain things and not others, I don't believe anybody should be refused the right to have the things they want; that has always been my philosophy. I don't think I am any more entitled to my opinions than anybody else and I'm sorry if I made it look that way.

And if you are referring to my videos, I did include things in those videos that I didn't want to see. It was my goal to make those a semi-collaborative effort. I did not include anything that I thought was a bad idea, but I did put stuff in that I didn't care about.

But, Final Bout was a really bad game regardless. I don't believe that was the fault of the fans. Also, wasn't the extent of the developers-seeking-fan-opinions, for that game, exclusive to characters?

Naughty Dog, only because it would be the greatest action adventure game of all time! Never gonna happen though.

Well I did some research and it's now WB Games.

I stand corrected. It's Clover Studio that made God-Hand.

It's cool. Though the cool thing about WB having the rights: DC vs MK II is a possibility as well as a very good chance a new Mortal Kombat film can be made (Mortal Kombat: Devastation has been in development hell for a while).

I'm a huge Capcom fan, so, I would always be interested to see what one of Capcom's dev studios could do with the Dragon Ball property. Wouldn't mind one of their cross-over fighting games, they're always a blast, but also something more like an action-adventure game would also be interesting. :)

Umm... I mean... yeah, Square's take would be interesting if they didn't pay any attention to what's already out there. *Looks around for Big Mama*
Wait... I was thinking of this the other day and wound up just trying to write a walkthrough based on my horrible fanfiction... :(

Simply because I was reminded of how you've mentioned a KH-style DB game in the past, and how said idea makes me think of awesomeness.
... and then I went and watched Namek Journey Filler and think it could be even more awesome.
So yeah, it's like a recursive awesomeness loop.

Oh yeah, I remember that post.

Then, as an extra unlockable, you can get the "OVA" storyline. :D

Well maybe Bandai Namco is going to need all the help they can, as I can tell you that Raging Blast, Revenge Of King Piccolo, and Attack of The Saiyans bombed really hard in this past month's US sales. Don't have numbers, but well under 20k for each:

RB 360> RB PS3> Aots> RoKP

Guys, bandainanco is fine.

See Natutimate Ninja Storm PS3 (Bandainanco) ..
If Raging Blast was 50% of what this game is, would be sweet.
At least for the camera if not for the adventure hidden leaf village.

For now... ps2 games still rocks over ps3 ones.
If the games were good, I would buy than instead naruto.
