I'm calling it: the next one is narrated by Frieza and he says, "These Dragon Boxes give me a feeling that resembles joy - I want to caress them."
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

And God, Chris Sabat was really phoning it in. That sounded nothing like Piccolo.

I don't have the first box yet, but the screens in the trailer look awesome. I can't wait to get my DB box along with the second one soon.

This just reminds me of the scene in the the Simpson's when Krusty comes in to do the voice over for the doll or whatever, reads his lines and leaves before the tech even cues him.
Damn, you beat me too it!

I was thinking the exact same thing.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

It sounds like Sabat just wanted his paycheck.

I don't care if the entire trailer is them looping dub King Kai's annoying snorty laugh for 30 seconds straight, I'm still glad these sets are coming out, and I'd rather have mediocre advertising than none at all.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

They did a bad cover choice.
Why not Freeza? I'm just saying.

I think they'll save Freezer for Dragon Box 3.

I would not complain about that for one second.

Considering how good the release is, I don't care how they market it, as long as it gets them sales... which from what I've read here about the Funimation forums, it's doing the trick.

Anything that helps them sell.

I'd prefer respectful marketing, of course... but I feel them selling well to secure future releases is more important.

It was like that when he promoted the trailer for one of the season sets too.

Ya know, out of context, that looks like something you'd never say.

Yes, we can because this is the interNetZ where everything's allowed!

The phrases "Remastered and restored frame by frame," and "This is the definitive Dragon Ball Z experience" were recycled from the first Dragon Box Z trailer.

Not to be confused with the nearly identical wording from the remastered season set promos, "The digital cleanup of the film has been performed frame by frame," and "Ultimate and definitive editions of Dragon Ball Z." Oh, irony.
Uh yea, did you see the trailers for the DragonBall blue bricks. Each trailer is exactly the same!

What? He was not in-character for those trailers. =/

I'm probably going to sound stupid for saying this, but I thought they were mimicking the Dragonbox covers from Japan. :?
