YOUR fanart!

Post by Norwegian_Vegeta » Wed Mar 02, 2005 6:40 am

That`s right, this is a topic for posting fanart you have drawn yourself. To set an example, I will submit a rather bad scetch featuring Piccolo.

Uh... This isn't really a place for fanart... ^^; But I urge you to try Daizex Randomness http://daizexrandom.proboards29.com/index.cgi It's a place to do all the wacky things that VegettoEX would NEVER let us do here ^^;

I'd post stuff...but the last time I did that at a Dragonball site, someone stole one of my pics and submitted it to a contest. Luckily, I caught him and blew his little secret wide open to everyone.

I didn't know there were so many people here on deviantART too. I've been looking here for like an hour, and already came across like 5. :P

While packing for the move I found a bunch of old Dragon Ball drawings I did years ago I found to be quite good. I'll try to get them scanned or whatnot and hopefully you guys think they're as good as me and my friends thought.

Um..actually, I DON'T notice. Did I miss it?? I don't see it in your sig. :oops:

Ah, screw it. No one better steal these though. :?
I'm not assuming someone here will, it's just that it's happened before elsewhere, and needless to say, I wasn't pleased.

I have more, but these are my favourites. Actually, I have one more favourite (the full size one of my avatar), but I don't wanna post too many large images. :P

Leotaku, you have a very cool style, I like it a lot. For some reason the Trunks one fighting the Cyborgs, the lighting kind of reminds me of reminds me of the "Ghetto [and by that I mean 'gangsta' not lame] Art" a friend of mine did back in high school. Really sweet stuff!

I'll try to put up some of my stuff!

Err, well, it WAS down there... I apparently accidently removed it or something.... but it's back now. ^^

Oh, and your art style reminds me a LOT of Pandora... only, with more clothes. XD

Really? I'm not quite sure what it would about my lighting though, that could remind someone of someone else's stuff. ^^; Do you happen to have any of his or her stuff?
Anyway, thank you. And hope you can get some of your stuff up. :D

Xyex: Aha. There it is now. :P
Yes, I...don't do Pandora's sorta stuff. :oops: He (?) does have a lot of talent though.

You got some good stuff there, Leotaku. I especially like the shading...maybe that's what resembles Pandora's umm...work.

My Gods, Leotaku. If I had money, I'd pay you to do art for my video games!

Anyway, if you wanna see my crap, it's here:

Maybe. ^^;

Really? Thank you very much. I hope you do do more work. :D
It would suck to be like me; I'm just not motivated anymore, and hardly do any drawing these days. :?

Actually, I've been doing free drawings for amateur (as in non professional / commercial, not crappy) game teams for years now. Right now, I'm tied up with designing monsters for someone's RPG.

And hey, it's not crap. You don't have to worry. I mean, everyone starts somewhere. You should see how I drew like just 2 years ago. No one starts perfect or becomes perfect. People should just do their best. And really, unless someone wants to pursue art as a career, I don't think they should sweat it. Just have fun. :P

Sorry, I might have gone a little off topic. :oops:

Naw, your stuff's not crap. In fact, I'd say the only major thing you need to do is make the characters shorter or bulkier.

When you've been practicing for about fifteen out of twenty years, it is crap.

Leotaku, your stuff rules. o_o

I have some DBZ fanart, but I'd rather not post my dA account, cause that's not the only fanart I have. >_>

I shall post my best drawing here and the rest comes later:
