Has anyone been able to pull up the actual "interview" or Q&A or whatever it is from the current/upcoming Famitsu article that is referenced on that website? I'd like to take a look at the source itself. Like I've mentioned before, I don't know where to go where all the cool and hip internet kids get their Japanese gaming magazine scans early on.

I am doubtful as to the credibility of this. Burst Limit 2 on PSP? I just don't see it.

I saw that the first time but it didn't register until I checked the article again. Also, the article was very biased, it spent most of the time talking about Burst Limit as if it was a failure more than actually talking about Bandai's plans to move the game to the PSP.goku the krump dancer wrote:I dont know if you guys paid any attention to this? But the article said that Namco Bandai will have DIMPS DEVELOP THE NEXT RAGING BLAST WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

PSP games purchased from the PSN work on any PSP. There were PSP games on the PSN before the Go was even announced. Minis are full games of varying genres. And you don't need a PS3 to put games on a PSP, you can download games directly to the handheld.SSJmole wrote:Hellspawn28 wrote:I believe PSP games can become downloable on PSN like a month or two after they come after? If this is a sequel or a spin off then it will likely be on PSN for non PSP fans to play with.
Actually the psn stuff for psp like full games is for PSPGo so they can buy games. They don't work on ps3. ps3 is just used to transport it from psn to psp.
However psp minis now work on ps3 but they are mini games not full psp games.

I know I was just explaining the ps3/psp linking in regards to his statement. And yes they work on any psp BUT sony themselves said they have drastically increased the amount of them because of the go.Anonymous Friend wrote:PSP games purchased from the PSN work on any PSP. Also I know what Minis are. Like i said they are mini games. You don't think that then download a Mini and look at the file size. it's tiny. They are small games. That's what I said. Like Zombie tycoon is a mini zombie game (love zombie tycoon.) while Hero of Sparta is basically Mini-god of war.

I wonder how well thats going to mix. Or if its gonna be Budokai just with a different name. But honestly what these games need is more creativity and not just with story mode. I mean one thing that RB did do was add moves/combos from the show that was never seen in a game before. Hardly any of them were creative though, now one thing that comes to mind when thinkin of dimps is creativity just look at B2/3 & Carddass and remember all of those finishers. Now if they can mix it properly with BT mechanics than they could actually have their next big DB game.SparkyPantsMcGee wrote:I saw that the first time but it didn't register until I checked the article again. There's plenty of precedent.
Well, I don't own a PSP, but my girlfriend does (Don't ask..). Maybe I'll get if it's real. :/

The thing is, when people see Mini Game they think of Mario Party vs portions or some horrible compilation on Wii.SSJmole wrote:Also I know what Minis are. Like i said they are mini games. I know nothing of this. Although it isn't completely out of the realm of possibility. Bandai Namco in particular has moved the PS2 Naruto Shippuden games mainline series only to the PSP with Accel 3 (although North America is putting it as another PSP spinoff title). This goes hand-in-hand with Sony moving the Jak & Daxter franchise, SEGA moving Valkyria Chronicles, etc. all to the PSP. Really low development costs, and a higher likely hood of succeeding in Japan is what's warranting those movements.
As for this French site, it's of dubious quality I'd say. That whole Dimps developing Raging Blast 2 is very suspect. And I don't even know if Bandai Namco would want to make another Raging Blast, the game has done worse then Burst Limit both critically, and commercially.
I could only see them doing more Raging Blasts because they've already got a graphics engine, a netcode, and a fighting engine. Basically all they'd have to do is create some more models (or upscale Sparking! Meteor's
). Bandai Namco is doing that to Naruto Ulimtate Ninja Storm 2, a game who's predecessor sold rather poorly (although they're trying to fix that by putting it on both the PS3 and Xbox 360), but is getting a sequel due to the heavy stuff being done. That said, the same also could go for Burst Limit on home consoles.
If it is true, Dimps better not be using the Shin Budokai engines. The graphics engine in particular is pretty weak and dated now, it was designed around a PSP running at 220mhz, not one running at 330mhz.

"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

I'd rather an actual Shin Budokai 3, but done right. I liked SB1, but 2's story mode made me cry.

Actually, if we're talkin' portable DBZ fighters, the #1 sequel I'd like to see is Supersonic Warriors 3. I've been rockin' SSW2 and it is freakin' sweet. Almost everything from SSW1 was vastly improved, and the desperation and tag moves are amazing. If a third game came out, with graphics akin to Attack of the Saiyans, I'd be in Heaven.

For those with only PSP it is fun but seriosly
it is not a wise option.
I doubt the producers are planing to downgrade the graphics
remaining with the same cast (freeza/cell only)
or anything
Shin budokai already had some of the "specials"
used directly on Burst limit. So this feature is not a motive to consider.
