Looks like the next two volumes of the re-dubbed and uncut Saiyan Saga DVDs are due out on June 7th. Six episodes on one day! Hoo-ray! Here are the links:

Vol. 3: Into the Wind

That's pretty damn cool! I don't think I've ever seen FUNi do a double release like that before... If only they'd do that with Fullmetal Alchemist... >_>

But, I remember debating this, When they say 3 eps per disc isn't there a chance it might be more considering the new 1A, 1B, 2, 3A type of system? I remember reading [don't know if it was here or Toonzone] that Raditz-End of Vegeta's fight wit span 7 discs.

I'm pretty sure that there will only be three episodes per disc because it says that each has a running time of 62 minutes. That's what every other three episode Funi DBZ DVD has said. Usually they put a running time of 80 or 82 minutes for four episode DVDs.

But the box set would span more than 7 dvds if that were true. By the way. I never quite found out, the first disk they are releasing is showdown, which has goku vs. vegeta on it, but then the new dvds sound like they are coming from earlier in the series. Are they gonna screw up the release by releasing the dvds in some wierd order? Unless the first dvd has been renamed showdown.

Funimation has always done double releases with their Dragonball stuff. They were doing it with GT for the most of it. They did it for their Yu Yu Hakusho stuff for a while too. But they definately did double releases for all of their Z DVDs.

And no, they're starting from the beginning. That Goku vs Vejiita extra is just the voice actors for the two talking about the fight. Wich is the highlight of the Re-dub. Radditz is a Saiyan too ya know..

Yea, like with the Piccolo Sagas and the two end of the Dark Tournament DVD's (Yu Yu Hakusho).

But, back on-topic. Does this mean that the DVD's will be available in stores or only online.

Er...huh? Of course they'll be in stores. Why wouldn't they be?

No, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about releasing two DVDs at a time.

Most of their dvds, they did like that, both DBZ and YYH.
