My Christmas list is pretty small this year. I want a new iPod Touch, the Harper's Island series DVD, and ZARD's "Le Portfolio." I already own the Dragon Box, so that's not my list. I don't plan on getting the Dragon Ball season sets... I want a Dragon Box!

I also made a "dream" list filled with things that I may never get. I've got all the Dragon Boxes there (come on, Japan Auction Center, give me a great deal!), all of the "Slump the Box" sets (all of which are in stock on CDJapan - unfortunately there's only two 90's sets left), and the ZARD Premium Box collection.

My birthday recently passed, so with some of the money I received, I finally picked up the first translated daizenshuu. There was only one left in my local Barnes & Noble - and it was a little damaged (the slip thing mostly). I got a great deal on it, though. It was on sale for $16 (I was unaware of that until checkout), and then I used a 25% coupon and walked out of the store with the book for only $12 (with tax included)!

The only Dragonball thing I scored was the collectors edition of Raging Blast.

I haven't popped the game in yet though.

Impossible!, it comes with a completely pointless "art book" that doesn't even contain any of the new Super Saiya-jin 3 illustrations and is instead a couple of wireframe shots, some character models and then some straight up screenshots from the game.

Also it comes with some amazing DLC that lets me unlock SSJ 3 Broli from the get-go!.

..Yeah there is no way I'm going to like this game, but as a Dragonball tragic no doubt I will finish it and unlock everything.

I wish I had more Dragonball stuff this year, but the only thing I'll be getting that's Dragonball-related is the Dragonbox..... online, that is. And we have to get money on the Credit Card, so that'll be after tomorrow. Oh well. I'll still be GETTING the damn thing, finally.

The MAIN reason I'm getting it now instead of later is this: I just want the damn thing, after sooo many years.

And I'm going to be watching EVERY SINGLE episode of DBZ in Japanese in 2010. Starting with the first Dbox. I'll be getting the second one when it comes out, so thank GOD I don't have to watch the Namek arc in Funi's crappy remastering style. I have a feeling that set 3 will come later in 2010, seeing the closeness in the first 2 sets. As for the Jinzonengen/Cell stuff, I'll either get the Dragonboxes and watch them that way, or watch my Funi singles. I would PREFER to get the Dragonbox version of those episodes, though. The Buu episodes will HAVE to be in Dragonbox before I can watch them.

The only DragonBall related thing I got this year was the last DragonBall VIZBIG book which covers most of the Piccolo arc. I fucking love this book. I never read the Piccolo stuff before the whole tournament thing so this is all new to me and I love it. I had no idea Pilaf resurrected Piccolo in the first place!

I haven't gotten anything direcly DB-related for Christmas... YET. But I didn't really expect to, as my family knows I prefer to wheel and deal for my series DVDs and such on my own. If I'm lucky, I'll get a decent amount of Best Buy gift cards to put towards that DragonBox.

Awww man, I feel for you! How could you forget to take a charger - Not good! I hope your having a nice vacation mind, Maybe you could just go in a store and buy a DS charger in the boxing day sales. - Depending where your vacationing of course. New York (Lots of DS Chargers) Arizonia desert... (You get the picture)

I'm quite pleased, I bought my brothers the Dragonball Z Raging Blast, Of course not because I wanted to play it at all...
