Bora nitpick

Post by Super Sonic » Tue Mar 08, 2005 11:18 pm

Hey I was rereading vols. 8, 10, and 13 yesterday and I noticed something. You know how some images of Bora have him with a scar on the right side of his chest, supposedly from getting pierced by the spear? The spear pierced the left side of his chest, not where the scar is. That and it isn't present in vol. 13. Only in vol. 10 and it shows up again at the end of the series when we see him again (at least in the anime anyways). Any thoughts?

Exactly. It's just his usual, forgetful, lazy self.

As you evaluate the series for a few years, more of the man's mistakes become more prevalent in your eyes.

We have now officially become the Dragonball equivalent of Trekkies... :P

Most likely Toriyama just fudged it like he always does. Either that or he knew how frickin' amazing DB'd get and left the tidbit there for fans like us. I prefer to imagine the latter.

Silly idealist, dreams like that are for fanboys. :P

Damn you've just been played.

Sike naw. You can only expect so many mistakes in a such a large series. Only the most flawless mangas are those short ones. Berserk comes to mind.
