Post by Tanooki Kuribo » Wed Mar 09, 2005 9:10 am

Gamespot has posted a review of the game, I also recomend watching game footage movie 15, Its a video clip of how 2-players will look in the game.

Also the game looks a lot more polished up then what we've seen previously. Look at this screen shot

I'm sorry to say this but I get an "the incredables" sort of game impression. For some this may be fine but it looks like it will have very little gameplay.
P.S. I will probably still get the game for sheer "novelty value" lol

I do agree with Tanooki though, the game does look more polished. That's if you look at the new gameplay footages that is . :)

I'll most likely wait for some reviews before I'll decide wether or not to get it... if it's any good though. I might get it because I haven't had a good co-op fighter in the longest time.

Same here, but I'll rent it before I'm fully convinced on buying it. On my last post I meant that the character models were more polished, but I wouldn't say the same for the environments. I also think the characters look too awfully small.

Oh, so it's not a review? I WAS surprised when I read the title, cause I didn't think it was out yet.
I'll have to wait to read some reviews on it too, before I decide whether to get it or not. I'd never buy a game, especially a brand new one that's gonna be like $50-$60 Canadian, without knowing how its reviews are doing.

I agree with you all the way. But my biggest dream would be to play a 2-D, DBZ, side scroller, co-op bash-em-up game. Imagine a DBZ version of Streets of Rage.

I am looking foreward to Sagas. This is going to shed a new light on the DBZ gaming world.

From the Gamepro preview (yes, I know GP sucks balls, but my brother gets it, so I leaf through it to see if they have one or two interesting articles), the game looks stupendous. Almost as good as the PS2 TMNT games. I'm definately looking forward to playing it. There's one pic there that bothers me... it looks like, in one scene, that Piccolo? (I think it's Piccolo... too lazy to check) is fighting uber-huge Cell Jr.'s! Also, their ignorance of calling Rekuum "Android 16" is laughable.

BUT BROLY IS FREAKING IN THE GAME. Word.

Now if only Sega would release a revamped SOR game. I would so orgasm.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

It goes from Saiya-jin to Cell games. And I haven't seen it...

The only thing about that is that DBZ never had waves of enemies. Cause I'm big on authenticity, so I just wouldn't like the fact that they'd have to make up a bunch of enemies to throw at you. Which is what they're doing with Sagas anyway, judging from the screens.
A DragonBall beat em up would work good though, like Advance Adventure on GBA.

The thing that bothers me about Gamepro is that, when I read their letters, they sound like such jackasses when replying. :x

Piccolos ears are disturbingly large - in his little avatar thing with his health bar etc... though, it looks like fun, but I'm still unsure. It comes out soon though, so we don't have to wait for long.

Vegeta takes on Android 16 on planet Namek. Just as in the anime, you have to power up your ki before you can fire off any spirit blasts.

-GamePro
Heh, spirit blasts. Why can't it be called that in the anime?

BTW, those are saibamen.

You mean those gigantic things that are colored like Cell Jr., and look similar, but are beefed up like Cell did before Son Gohan knocked Juuhachigou out of him, ARE SAIBAMEN?

Yes, they're enlarged blue Saibamen, or Saibamen-ish creatures. If you actually look at them you'd see that. They don't look that much like Cell, they're Saibamen on steriods.

Hmmm...I don't know. Let me see what may link the two:

the three razor-like fingers/toes on each hand/foot

the body structure

the lines on the arms and legs

or could it be *gasp* the vertical split going down the top of their heads.

To top it all off, these things are only found with a pack of normal sized saibamen (I could see this being a transformation for the Saibamen in the next Budokai). I win. Hoo-hah!
