That wins the 'Hilariously Bad Bootleg' award.

Seriously, I have never before seen such a hideous rendition of Dragon Ball toys.

Wow, the one on the left is a bootleg of the Super Battle Collection - Super Saiyan Goku 3, just with the back of the hair ripped off and re-painted obviously. The one on the right looks like it's also from the Super Battle Collection, this time it's the Goku in the blue gi figure they bootlegged.

Then you haven't seen anything yet. There was this one bootleg in some old DBZ magazine I had, and it literally looked like a nutcracker with Super Saiyan Gohan's head.

I don't know where it is, I tried looking a few years ago and couldn't find it. It's a damn shame though because it was hilarious! If I do come across it, I will make a thread about it though.

There's a store near where I work that sells erotic scented candels with the images on them of the cast at the end of the first opening credits, as well as the one with everybody giving Cell the finger.

FYI: "Erotic Scented' usually means they give off a breatheable aphrodisiac as they burn.

 Oh God. I wonder why they put the DB pics on? I hope they aren't trying to market it to children.

I've actually been looking for a Dragon Ball style phone stand, the closest is that Freeza chair one, but I've got the impression that it's actually speakers for the iPhone.

Those mugs are pretty cool, I would buy them. But that tea pot and sugar pot are absolutely gorgeous, definitive buy. Anyone know where I can get that?

Also I think these are pretty odd, I own them and love them though:

I refuse to accept that such a horrible remake is even being made.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I'll tell you what would be the best piece of bizzare merchandise?

Daimao's Rice Cooker.

I went in to see their other merchandising. For the most part, it's a non-erotic DVD store, mostly dealing in stuff with cult status. So you'll see stuff like Ash (from Army of Darkness) on t-shirts, etc. They actually have various candels, both scented and non, but when I saw the Erotic ones, those were the only ones left at the time. There are apparently 10 types: the two I listed on unscented, citrus, spring and erotic (getting us 8), as well as another image on unscented and citrus. They frequently keep the Erotic ones for shock/obscure item value. The clerk tried them out with her boyfriend; they apparently make make women more horny. Maybe it's not shock, so much as a geek, weak version of a roofie.

Those actually look pretty cool. I'm probably the only idiot in here who isn't entirely sure that they're bootlegs, but if they are, they're damn good ones.
