The Neko Majin series comes to a close with cameos by many fan-favorite characters, including our main DB hero, himself!

Thus ends the series! Hopefully we can work backwards when the kanzenban comes out and do some of the older chapters we haven't released (such as the untranslated NM2). Until then... mucho-enjoy!

Wow...just wow.

That ending was kinda a let down, but Toriyama has a knack for that.

What really suprised me was the new character designs he made for certain characters, completing discarding the GT designs.

Oob was wearing the Turtle gi (it appears)
Goten still has his long hair from the end of DBZ
Pan is slightly older than in GT, and looks a lot like teenage Videl.

So, does that count as the official after-DBZ designs?

Well I'd say it's official. Some people probley won't. Thats ok though.

I'd say this chapter was right after Z, thats just very plain to see. I'am still at a loss to where to place the previous chapters.

PAN!!! Post-manga but still manga Pan!!!!

As for her being older, I find she looks a year or two younger. Taller though since Goten shrank mysteriously. Oob only looks like he's only a year or two older than when the manga ended.

So the question lies: does NMZ (ignoring the gag-impossibilities of chapters 1-3) take place between Z and GT, post-GT or in place of GT?

Maybe its like a Tarantino movie where it just shows random happenings.

So in the previous chapters it could have been how Vegeta came across him...

err...or maybe a wizard did it...

You're right, they all look different. From Goku to Uub.

Didn't even recognize Pan.

I guess since this is a gag manga, Toriyama didn't make the characters detailed,

I reckon it's not really a part of the DB timeline, but if I'd have to place it somewhere, I'd say it would be instead of GT. XD

About timeline placement... disregarding chapters 1-3 and their Freeza Saga references(didn't you notice how Kuriza, and Onio suddenly vainshed?), it's clearly sometime after Z, I'd bet on 2 years.

Pan looks older than she did at the end of Z, however Uub and Goten, even though have new clothes, seem to be at about the same age as in Z.

I'm tellin' ya: it's that mysterious fourth timeline mentioned in the Daizenshuu!

No, no! I got it! THESE are simply those random extra timeline changes made that Trunks was explaining!
Example:
-Manga Canon: "There was never any #19 in my timeline, Gero was never a cyborg and there was never any #16 either!"
-Gag Manga: "There was never any fifth surviving Saiyan named Onio, Vegeta wasn't a Super Saiyan while still working for Freeza and GT took place (if you consider GT to have taken place, that is...

) !"

SO IT WORKS OUT TO BE MANGA CANON AFTERALL!!! I think I'm gonna have a fanboygasm.

Don't forget a sixth saiyajin wife... heck for all we know the Saiyajin race still is thriving , and for that matter, Freeza still is alive, as Vegeta kindly mentions in chapter 3. XD So in this timeline, Goku went SSJ(2) all by himself, Namek was never visited, and no one ever had any interest in taking over earth. =D Woot!

Wow, this was fun! Best chapter yet. I liked Goku and Z's battle and the ending was so completely random

It was neat to see the Sons' new designs. Pan definately looks older and Goten's hair is even bigger than before.

This chapter leaves me wanting another one because it was so good ^_^;;

On a random side note; 100th post!

So that was the end, huh? It was kind of sudden but what the hey. The fight between Goku and Z was hilarious. Then Goku discovering Z dressed as a koala was great. Sad, that there aren't going to be any more of these, I liked seeing old characters do new things.

Yes!

This really made me feel like it's finally over. For some reason, this really clenched the fact that everything will be all right for Goku and his friends. The end of Z didn't leave me with that feeling, and GT only made me feel depressed at how his family won't ever see him again.

...But this last chapter... it just... it just did something for me.

I feel at peace...
