DBZ Shin Budokai 2's Story Mode

Post by Piccolo Daimao » Sat Jan 23, 2010 8:50 am

Could someone tell me what happens in Shin Budokai 2's story mode? I know about the what-if storyline of Majin Boo being released in Future Trunks' timeline, but what I'm asking for is something like a detailed plot summary.

Babidi shows up in Trunks' future looking to release Majin Boo. Trunks goes back to the past and recruits the help of the prime-timeline heroes, bringing them back with him.

In the process, somehow, every single playable character gets shoved into the story mode.

Every. Single. One.

For once, DB Wiki comes through: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Dragon ... Road#Story

It's one of the worst story modes I've ever seen.

The battles themselves are fine. The characters are fine. The Arcade Mode is fun. The story is really bad but you can skip the cutscenes. It's the world map where you have five "Freeza Clones" or whatever destroying cities and you have to kil lthem all in a certain amount of time... Just to have to fight a few more "Freeza Clones" or whatever in a certain amount of time after the cutscene.
