Soundtrack in future games
Which soundtrack would you like to see available to play in a future Dragon Ball game?
I would like to see "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" & "We Gotta Power" in future DB games, because they were good songs and it would be nice to be able to play them in battle.

I've always wanted to have the dub music in the games.

Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

You may already know this, but a LOT of Faulconer's score was remixed for the second and third Legacy of Goku games on the GBA (a few appeared in the first one as well). But I agree with this statement anyway. I'd love to play a Budokai game with the Faulconer score playing in the background. It already sounds like video game music anyway (and it worked really well when used in the GBA titles).jjgp1112 wrote:I've always wanted to have the dub music in the games.

The instrumental Cha-La that plays during the previews would make nice background for a sparring match between friends.
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
There are tons of awesome image songs that would go nice with a lot of games, and the movie closing themes would definitely be fun to play to, but if we were to through in some out-of-series music, I think a nice dramatic soundtrack would be awesome to play Super DBZ or a Sparking! game to! Just some Carmina Burana or Requiem for a Dream or something!!

Most of the game scores are handled in Japan so they don't use Faulconer Productions' stuff. I'm not sure what went on with the one that did have it in there, but I know Yannis Brown did a lot of work on making the tracks work for the intended platform. Usually composer prefer to write new stuff. From what he told me I don't think this was an exception.

Why use old songs when we can have new ones?
No thanks, considering Kageyama's latest song flatten his older ones, I'd rather not have the original songs.

But seriously, I would love to have the Faulconer score in the Tenkaichi series, it would just be the icing on the cake for already fantastic games.

I couldn't forget about Makafushigi Adobencha. It would be great to play it in the background of a stage like Mount Paozu.Piccolo Daimao wrote:Which soundtrack would you like to see available to play in a future Dragon Ball game?

Soundtracks that aren't used mid-battle don't need to be in any video games, unless they're for a menu screen.

I'd like the previously stated Cha-la head Cha-la and We Gotta Power as well as Mezase Tenkaichi, Dan Dan, and all of the previous video game themes. Especially Kiseki(The one from Burst limit) and Power of Dreamer. Also, a full version of Orange Hero.
