I was born on June 1, 1990, and the only episode to air on June the 1st was Dragon Ball 114 - Goku's Wish!! Even Karin-sama is Worried, and that was before I was born!!!

The one to air closest to my actually day of birth was Dragon Ball Z 51 - Courage Times One Hundred! The Warriors Gather Under Kaio, and that episode suuuuuucked!!!

There was supposed to be one on my 5th birthday but there was no Dragon Ball that week...

I guess two days before my not real birthday was

Dragon Ball

Episode 001 – February 26, 1986
Bulma and Son Goku

I was born on leap year but still it's close.

Dragon Ball Z

Episode 038 – February 28, 1990
The Terror Awaiting Gohan and Company

I was hoping it wouldn't be on my fake birthday but still close.

Dragon Ball GT

February 28, 1996

Wanted!!
Goku is a Criminal!?

A day before my birthday that's lovely.

That's it really.

Also I call it my fake birthday because technically I'll say it again my birthday is actually the 29th so that's why.

My birthday: 1989-04-14 (Between episodes 152 and 153 of Dragon Ball)

DBZ Episode 181 - Someone Who Will Succeed the Strongest... His Name is Gohan

Uh... I haven't seen this part of DBZ in years. I don't know what happens in this episode.

Lesse...

October 1, 1985 - Dragon Ball had yet to debut as an anime. The day before my birth, however, saw the release of Chapter 42 of the manga.

Dragon Ball Anime
1986 (Age 1) - Episode 32 - Vanished!? The Flying Fortress in the Sky - Boring ol' Red Ribbon Army filler with Pilaf appearing AGAIN.

Dragon Ball Z Anime
1996 (Age 11) - Super Decisive Battle for Earth - A broadcasting of DBZ Movie 3 while GT was airing the Baby arc. Huh. Either way, a decent movie.

Dragon Ball Manga
1990 (Age 5) - Chapter 292 - Come Forth, the Genuine Shenlong! - Nifty chapter with a BIG dragon at the end. Great to see Kuririn, Gohan and Dende scheming while Vegeta naps.

Dragon Ball Episode 132: "Hotter than Magma" - Aired on the day I was born (Nov. 2 1988) - Gokû training with Popo, while Kuririn, Yamucha, Tenshinhan and Chaozu train fighting off a volcano. Boring filler. 1/5.

Dragon Ball Z Episode 106: ""The Great Explosion of Planet Namek!! Gokû has Vanished into the Universe" / "Namek's Explosion... Goku's End?"- The first dub airing of this episode was on Nov. 2 1999; - After defeating Freeza, Gokû tries to find a way to escape Planet Namek before its inevital destruction. He lands on Freeza's ship and tries to get it to lift off, but Vegeta damaged it too much. The spaceship eventually crashes into lava, with Gokû being left standing with no chance to escape. Planet Namek explodes. Yamucha delivers the news to
Bulma via Kaiô, who believes the Dragon Balls can be used to bring Gokû back. Kaiô, however, says otherwise: If they brought Gokû or Kuririn back to life, they'd resurrect in space, where they'd immediately die again. A small fight between Vegeta and Gohan happens, as well. The episode ends with everyone in mourning, seeing as Gokû is apparently dead, permanently. An interesting episode, to be sure. 4/5.

Dragon Ball Z Episode 161: "Super Vegeta in Danger!! The Completely Perfect Terror Draws Near!!" / "Vegeta Must Pay" - The first dub airing of this episode was on Nov. 2 2000; - This episode is basically just Vegeta getting beat up by Cell and being overall arrogant. 2/5.

Dragon Ball Z Episode 244: "He's After the Western Capitol! Stop Majin Boo!!" - The first japanese airing of this episode was on Nov. 2 1994- Gokû tries teaching Goten and Trunks how to fuse, mentioning they have to be on equal ki levels. An interesting fake-flashback scene occurs where Kuririn imagines how it'd be if Gokû and him'd trained for fusion under Muten Rôshi. Meanwhile, Mr. Satan is being an idiot and bragging about he'll defeat Boo, and Boo is blowing stuff up. The mother of the kids that were defeated by Goten and Trunks in the Budôkai then remembers that Trunks lives in Metro West, and tells so to Babidi. Babidi then informs the Earth that he knows this, and will attack Metro West next. Bulma then remembers that the Dragon Radar is still back home in Capsule Corp. Trunks has to get back home and bring the radar back before Boo blows up Metro West. Gokû then decides he will stall for time by fighting with Boo himself. Gokû turns Super Saiyan 2 and prepares to fight, and hints he can go even further... - An interesting episode, though not much actually happened. A bit too slow in terms of pacing - the next episode is definitely much better =P 3/5.

Lets see from the original Dragonball episode 36:The terror of Muscle tower (Oct. 29, 1986), but I wasn't born yet so... Then from the Dragonball DUB episode 59 (in 2002 when I was 13):The Notorious Mercenary. Also DUB episode 136: Tenshinhan vs Mercenary Tao. ALright some pretty cool episodes haha.

No original japanese Dragonball Z episodes aired on my birthday, but from the DUB episode 89 (in the japanese its episode 104):Goku's Victorious Declaration!! The Moment Frieza Destroys Himself..." / "Frieza Defeated!!". Also DUB episode 213 (episode 228 in original japanese):"The Rebirth of Vegeta!! Dark Prince of Destruction" / "The Dark Prince Returns". Also DUB episode 248 (ep 263 in original japanese):"He's overwhelming Buu. Gohan's Miraculous Power" / "A Whole New Gohan". Alright Some pretty good episodes here too.

From the original japanese Dragonball GT episode 61:I Will Win!Goku Swallows the Four-Star-Ball. That's it.

Thank you, Kanzentai. Copying & pasting from your episode guide makes this so much easier. (Especially since I don't know how to type in japanese. Damn moon language)

OK, after rummaging through Kanzentai's episode guide, I can find which episodes aired close enough to my birthday to count! :P

Dragonball's completely outta the question, since I was born in 1990, and Dragonball didn't even make it to September 1989. =P

Dragonball Z
恐怖しろ!! フリーザは3度の変身で勝負する
Kyoufu Shiro!! Furiiza wa Sando no Henshin de Shoubu Suru
Fear Me!!
Freeza Does Battle With a 3rd Transformation, March 20, 1991. A day after I became a year old.

追撃!!ドクターゲロ謎の研究所を探し出せ
Tsuigeki!!! Dokutaa Gero Nazo no Kenkyuujo o Sagashidase
Give Chase!!
The Search for Doctor Gero's Mysterious Lab, March 18, 1992. A day before my 2nd birthday.

地球直撃!!セルの特大カメハメ波
Chikyuu Chokugeki!! Seru no Tokudai Kamehameha
Direct Hit on Earth!!
Cell's Huge Kamehameha, March 17, 1993. 2 days before I became 3

ノリすぎ!?ブウブウ バレーボール
Norisugi!? Buu Buu Bareebooru
Going Too Far?!
Buu Buu Volleyball, March 22, 1995. 3 days after I became 5

Dragonball GT
愛しのハニー!?花嫁はトランクス
Itoshi no Hanii!?
Hanayome wa Torankusu
Beloved Honey!?
Trunks is Betrothed, March 20, 1996. A day after I became 6. I must of gotten Power Rangers Zeo toys at this point. Loved opening those things.

Heh, only one GT episode. There would of been one to land right on my 7th birthday, but it got replaced by a Rurouni Kenshin Special.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

I was born on May 4th, 1991 and the cloest episode I found was Episode 46 which air on May 2, 1991. For Dragon Ball GT, the closet would be Episode 10 back in 1996, which two before my birthday. No GT epsiodes where out back in 1997 around the first week of May.

Born on May 21st, 1983.

Dragonball:
May 21st, 1986
Episode 13: Gokuu's Great Transformation
Alright, I got Gokuu turning into a giant ape when I was 3! I....have no memories of a birthday that young, so no idea what I was doing (most likely, doing the same thing I still do for my birthdays: stuffing myself with cake :) )

That's all for episodes!

Manga chapters:

May 21st, 1990
Chapter 273: The Terrible Ginyu Special-Squad
Hmmm, so on my 7th birthday, there was goodness involving everyone shitting their pants over how crazy strong the Ginyu Force were. In real life, I was probably enjoying some sweet Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures.

And that's it for things that actually aired/released on my birthday.

Bulma and the fucking crab. Well, that's just peachy. Lucky me, eh? It had to be somebody, I guess...

On the plus side, Chapter 188 (孫悟空の試合 Son Goku no Shiai - "Son Goku's Match") came out on my birthday, and that just so happens to be one of my favourite chapters. :D

And Chapter 482 (いよいよ完成!超フュージョン!! Iyoiyo Kansei! Suupaa Fyuujon!! -
"Perfected at Last! Super Fusion!!") should have come out on my exact birthday, but for some reason it wasn't in that week's Jump and was in the 5 September issue instead.

Yeah? Well here in the Netherlands, that aired on my birthday and everyone at my party was a huge DBZ fan so we actually watched it, completely unaware of the horror that was about to unfold.

Good times.
