Can anyone take some screencaps if they got it? I can compare with my 'Tien Shinhan' set. Any scans from the book? Full Tanooki DISSECTION?!

I'd love to post some caps but I don't have a DVD drive. It's such a shame that these sets aren't getting much attention 'cause they're really great. Dragon Box and Kai really overshadow them... But that's business as usual.

I bet most members are holding out for a DB Dragon Box. I'm willingly double dipping. But hey, I'll hand these ones down to my lil bros when they're old enough. They'll get to experience it all from the beginning and they'll love it just like I did.

No DVD drive in 2010? Seriously?

It's called a netbook. I'm good for 2010.

Plenty of people don't have DVD drives.

I remember during one of the Tournaments, they showed the camera panning towards Tien and they totally forgot to draw in his 3rd eye.

Here's a quick VLC grab. I'll take some more later. This is from the end of episode 85. Please feel free to compare. This is from the 'TIEN SHINHAN' set.

Here you go guys... they aren't PNGs, but I imagine the JPGs should be good enough. And I didn't bother with worrying about proper resizing. I just happen to have the disc in and used ArcSoft Total Media Theatre 3 to capture the screens (by the way, I'm loving this DVD/BluRay player software... all others pale in my opinion)

Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.

Thanks for the screencaps!

Compared to those screencaps it seems like my TV is cutting a little bit off the top and bottom. I'm watching with black bars on the side, so is it my TV or the screencaps?

That would be overscan on your TV.

One of the settings on my TV is called "HDMI Scan info". There are three options I can choose "Overscan, Underscan and Auto" I had it set on Auto. I just changed it to "Underscan" and now the screencaps look the same as my TV. :D
