I liked where that theme song was going...sorry, I like rock music, lucky for me FUNimation uses a lot of that in there DBZ dub.
While watching that Jeff interview I was thinking, yes, yes, thats great but are they uncut?
I don't know why but I always liked when FUNimation would make drastic changes in the dub, I mean if the Japanese version wasn't on the disc's I'd be super pissed at these changes. I fell in love with the Japanese version so watching the english dub is like an "extra"

I do! Of course, I have this habbit of watching the dub and having the subtitles for the Japanese version up. XD It's just a fun way to see/here the dialogue changes.Mizugi wrote:Who buys the DVDs to watch the dub anyway? If you're gonna do that, just save money and buy VHS.

<Kaboom> I'm just glad that he now sounds more like Invader Zim than Rita Repulsa
<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

Those guys sounded like jerks :/
Especially that sound-mixer guy.
I mean, what's so special about this "super mega ultra editon",
I've had the Dragonbox now for so long. (yeah i know it's not what they call it but they hype it like that).
It will be interesting to see if they're up the the German remastering of DBZ though.

Around $25 U.S for each volume.Jord wrote:Somehow I doubt TOEI would agree with that. The opening theme looks pretty good though. Are there any prices announced?Stupid Sound guy from Funi wrote:This is the way Dragonball is meant to be seen

Throughout the whole entirety of the interviews, I felt like I was hearing echoes
. "THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN!!!!", "THIS IS THE ULTIMATE SUPER SPECIAL EDITION UNCUT!! (I swear I kept hearing that like 10 times!
)", " BUY BUY BUY!!!! (Which I will
) ". Also like Mike said it doesn't really matter since it has the japanese version. Though, it would be interesting to compare the dub & sub.

All getting censored now, thoughRocketman wrote:Who the hell cares?
English DBZ Manga $7.95 a volume! WOOO!
Granted, Viz's early DBZ manga that these episodes correspond to is pretty much left alone...

Of course not. VHS is a dead market. Especially for something that's already been released (so to speak) on VHS and DVD before. DragonBall's VHS release was killed off halfway throughBlastero wrote:Is there even going to be a VHS release of these?
Not only do people want it dubbed, but on VHS...? My board's getting too weird ^^;;.

Pfft, I don't care! When I can get the equivalent of US dub episodes 67 through 89 for $17, and with none of the tediously horrible filler scenes, I'm a happy fan!VegettoEX wrote:All getting censored now, thoughRocketman wrote:Who the hell cares?
