I used a lot of hair gel and spiked my hair up to look like Vegeta.

I also used to shout "KAMEHAMEHA" in place of something like "BOOYAH"

Damn right.

Let's see. I made a mushy Gohan/Videl DBZ AMV that got over 125,000 views on YouTube, I guess that mere concept in itself is more silly than the fact I used VHS-quality footage to make it. When I think of something else, I'll let yas know. I've also put together insane text file ramblings dealing with power levels, how the movies can be fit into the animated universe, GT character bios, cameo conspiracies, I saw DragonBall Evolution, skateboards & wallscrolls... And yeah, there's that DB porn download related fault I know we all have... Right?

Ok, I had nothing for this thread until I was reminded of the existence of this movie. I think like, maybe two or even three months before it's release date in theaters, I saw the poster for it at the movie theater in town. It was behind a door, all the way in the back. It's a tiny, little local theater though. So I went to the manager and asked him if, when they were done with the poster, I could have it. He said he didn't know, they usually have to send it back to "the company" but he would be able to tell me more either next week or the week after. So two weeks later I came back, and he said something about how they might not even get the movie and to come back later and check. So for every Thursday (I don't know why) of almost every week for at least two months before it's release, I went and asked them if they were getting it and if the poster was up for grabs if it wasn't coming.

Well, release date came, aaand, they said they weren't getting it... but to keep checking back because they had DBE on their list of movies to use for filler in between big(ger) releases (Damn small town). And I think it was about a month after release date, they finally said... come back next week lol  and after the manager would speak with his boss about the final movie schedule to confirm they weren't going to show it, I could have the poster. And so I gots me a poster, but no DB Evolution on the big screen... So then I downloaded it, and was disappointed and felt like a damn fool for over-hyping myself for it.

I plan to get it framed lol. *shakes head/facepalm*

I bought a piece of furniture with the intention that it be used solely to house my bloated Dragonball collection.

And the sad part is I have again run out of space.

OK, here we go:

- Buying the series multiple times (Random VHSs here and there, single disc DVDs of Z and GT, Half the remastered sets casue I foolishly thought I was gonna buy all 9. *facepalm* And now Dragonbox. Once I'm done with the Dragonbox, I am selling the remastered sets. I know someone would want them.

- Buying the "Beckett DBZ" magazines, and hardly ever looking at them. Well, I read them when I was younger, but hardly ever now.

- Buying every DBZ game I could get my grubby hands on. Taiketsu, Legacy of Goku I, Sagas, I have a whole collection of crappy games. And all for this damn collection of crap.

- Giving away/trading/breaking (Yes, breaking) a few of my old DBZ figures. I had the shirtless/battle damaged SSJ Goku that came with a battle damaged Freeza Final Form figure. I also gave away the Freeza. I lost (traded/gave away) a special Gold-hair colored Majin Vegeta. Gave away one of my Trunks figures. Two, actually. The special one that came with the Time Machine, and one that has his long SSJ Hair. He was still normal, but with crazy-as-fuck hair. Broke my Pui-Pui figure, a Piccolo figure, and #17. (Thank GOD I have the pieces can put him back together) I also had a few Dragonball figures. The Pirate Robo, General Blue, and Kuririn. Lost/broke the top cover of the Time Machine, now it looks incomplete.

One day I hope to buy a friggin huge DBZ figure lot from Ebay.
Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!

Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

SuperSaiyan3Goku you just reminded me of somethings:
  • -Paid for a subscription to DBZ Beckett magazines.
-Played Dragonball: Final Bout for the Playstation
-Played all sort of Dragonball "simulators" and actually convinced myself they were decent
-Wore cheesy Dragon ball T-shirts to school
-Drew a dragonball hentai comic (Don't even think about asking me for it! You just going to have to do the dirty work and find it yourself)
    -Had "naughty" dreams about Goku....
You know what? I think I said too much. Um, yeah, I'm done embarrassing myself (more than usual) on this thread and before I open up a Pandora's box of more "silly" things that I've done in the past and present, I'm just going to stop right here. I'm official done with this thread.

And before I go, I would like to say this: VegettoEX if this was competition, you sir have clearly taken the trophy home. I would say "congratulations" but I just don't how to say that to a man who played Head-Cha-La at their wedding. Your wife loves you dearly, because if I was her I would've left at the alter. Unless there was a Dragon shaped chocolate cake at the reception, than I may have considered staying.

Add drawn, written and roleplayed as part of a long-running plot though, not just for LOLSEX o_O to that list and I'm with you > > Like you pointed out it isn't especially silly though.

And someone just had to remind me of DBE >_< I spent months following everything I could find out about it on blogs, and still spent my money to see it on opening day. It was like some horrible compulsion to just get the pain over with.

- When traveling home from school with my bike, I'd always sing various DB songs.

- I cosplay characters from the show.

- I'm still maintaining my DB site for a good 6 years now.

- I of course practiced the Fusion Dance with my younger brother. At a convention, with me cosplaying as Bulma and my friend as Videl, we also did the fusion dance and we got it on tape. It's actually on youtube too. XD

- Most of our cosplay videos are on Youtube. XD

- I watched DragonBall Evolution in theaters despite knowing it sucked ass.

- Went to a DBZ marathon (24 hours straight incl filler). I acted like a big know-it-all. A friend of mine won the contest though, but she stayed awake all night. I didn't because I was confident I would win (haha). But they asked questions like "what said Yamcha's baseball shirt?" D;

- I fandub the series when I feel like it.

- I colored the manga when I was younger. I regret it so much now (haha).

- I met most of my friends through this fandom. XD

*edit*
- Oh almost forgot about this one: I rejected a guy because he told me he hated DBZ!! Sorry pal!

Maybe it's because you're theater is a small-town one, but I work at a theater. (For Keresotes, which recently got bought out by AMC...so we get pay raises and a new dress-code! YES!) Usually, we're allowed to just take the posters whenever we're done with it, except special cases where another theater needs to use it. I've never heard of having to just give it back to the company.

Well maybe it had something to do with it going to different theaters, but that's what he said. It's also by no means a chain theater. I thought it was like a company property type of thing? Where they pay so much or get so much from movie companies to advertise their movies.

I know you can't just take home those giant cardboard standups... right? :|

Like two weeks ago when we were waiting to go see Avatar, my friend and I started singing TFS' "Make A Man Out of You". It was awesome, we got a lot of stares though.
