Bulma, Goku, and Vegeta

We all know for a fact that Bulma is much older than Goku, then how old is Vegeta? If he's the same age as Goku, he'd be marrying a woman who's older than him.

What are their ages?!

Well Bulma was sixteen and Goku was twelve when they met, so it's not that much of a difference. I don't know their exact ages now though.

Buruma's 28 at the start of DBZ and Vegeta is 29.

Goku was 19 at the end of DB. 19 + 5 years gets you 24 at the beginning of Z.

Vejiita looked around the same age as Goten and Trunks when Goku was born.

In the Bardock movie, you'll see that Goku was a baby and Vegeta was already fighting Saibamen (?). In the beginning of DB (correct me if I'm wrong), Goku's a kid (12 or so) and Buma was already in her teens.

So Vegeta and Bulma are both older than Goku. Whether Bulma's older than Vegeta or not, I'm not so sure about, but looks like Jerseymilk already cleared that up.

Age 732 The birth of Prince Vegeta.

Age 733 Bulma, Yamcha, and Tien are born.

Age 737 A Low Class Saiyan fighter is born to the Middle Class fighter Bardock.
He is rejected by his father as a failure.
In his first few days alive he's sent to the planet Earth to destroy it when he grows older.
His name is Kakarotto.

So there you go. Vegeta's a year older than Bulma, Yamcha, and Tien who are all 4 years older than Goku.

Even though Bulma is younger than Vegeta and older than Son Goku, by the time the story drifted into Z, she seemed younger than ChiChi and Vegeta appeared the same age as Goku. Just a thought.

Even if you don't take the Daizenshuu, just add it up yourself. Goku was 19 when he defeated Ma Junior at the budokai and married Chi Chi. The narrator states that five years have passed since at the start of DBZ. That makes Goku 24. Goku was 12 when he first met Buruma and she 16. Therefore at the start of DBZ, she's 28. Simple no?

Actually, I think Vegeta's in his 60's and Buruma in her 50's. Dang those Saiyajins! You can't guess their age by appearance at all! XD

It's never officially stated how long after Z GT is. There's some inconsistancies that make ages hard to guess. Pan's going on dates, but she looks like a nine year old, stuff like that.

He turns 19 before marrying Chichi, so his birthday is obviously shortly after the Budokai. Since DBZ starts 5 years after the 23rd Budokai, it's probably safe to say that it actually starts something like 5 years and several months after the Budokai (Raditz obviously doesn't arrive exactly on the 5 year anniversary of the Budokai). So by then Goku would have celebrated his 24th birthday.

I'm not just making shit up here. The Daizenshuus and even the new DBZ anime guide all state that he's 24 when DBZ begins. This is probably just the most likely reason why the numbers don't exactly add up.

I just noticed the comment you made... what's wrong with marrying an older woman? XP

GT is in alternate universe. It's the ONLY way it can work. Bra looks older than Pan but she's actually SUPPOSED to be young (GT switched it making her a year older than Pan when Z had it the other way).

Anyway, as for the GT ages.... *opens up his calculator* GT takes place in 789... Vegeta was born in 732... so he'd be 57 (59 considering his 2 years in the RoSaT). Bulma would logically be 56 then.
