Much of the art in Toyble's DBAF is redrawn from the anime and manga. So in a way they are cheating.

Did u know there were these pages? If I'm not mistaken, they're in the Encyclopedia version of DBAF vol. 2 (front-cover vegeta and trunks with the jap title version only). It's this:

Indeed, it's kind of a flash forward to the future of Dragon Ball AF. It was printed in a rare early release version of the DBAF#2 "Strategy of Guardians" doujinshi.

Looks like they just jump head to the Goku jr specail now, and now that their is another Buu like monster. And the last time I check this AF manga took place two years after GT.

For once I think Toyable has actually done something right but personally I hate the whole set up. Finally, an AF story that doesn't suffer from poor writing, I just hate sad endings. They don't do anything for me on a emotional level, which why I don't watch chick flicks. I didn't feel bad that Master Roshi died and hallucinated about all the "good times" (Funny, the same thing happens to me when I read DBAF), but I know that's what the writer was aiming for. What can I say I'm a skeptic, or maybe I don't have a real heart therefore I'm immune to "touching stories."

There were some panels near the end that were drawn so well I had a hard time believing that Toyable actually drew those. I love good use of perspective in drawings and scenery. Please don't tell me those where traced too.

Who is that Buu like character that was seen, one thing I don't like about this Manga is that the placeing goes off too fast if you ask me. I wounder if that small comic with Roshi and the AF manga are connected or not?

Even without translations, I enjoyed that "chapter" with Roshi much more than anything else related to or part of DBAF .

The story is mainly about Muten Roshi realising that he doesn't have to worry as the descendants of Son Goku and Vegeta are more than ready to protect the Earth in the future, he's got nothing more to teach them, and thus he lived his purpose and can finally pass on. I'll try to put up English scanlations this weekend if someone else doesn't beat me to it

I honestly like more DBM than DBAF cause the latter DBAF is really walking the same path as DBGT, which is a shitty path. DBM is fresh, original and you don't need to wait two months to read two pages.

I argee since DBM has a better story, and seems like they tell you how most things work out.

still think the art in DBAF is much better.

Toyble said he copy and paste most sceens from the DBZ and DBGT series on his blog. I still think DBM has better artwork in my opinon.

Edit: Also Toybel put more scans on his blog for the new chapter, and looks like Haze Shenron is back now. Good god looks like I was right.

They already been translated? Well their new to me . I don't know why Goku seems so scared at Haze Shenron when he is so weak afterall. Goku only had trouble against him due to his powers which was a big load of PIS.
