Dragonball Replicas

Post by SparkyPantsMcGee » Sun Feb 21, 2010 3:03 pm

It's been twenty years yet I still can't find any, so maybe you guys can help. I'm looking for Dragonballs. Has Toei/Bandi made any replicas of the Dragonballs? I'd really would like to have that in my collection(maybe with Shenron too). Please help.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

As for the Dragonballs, well you can find them on ebay easily. Whether they're legit or not, I dunno.

I've seen (expensive) dragon balls on ebay pop up whenever I search for random stuff. Most of them are overpriced, and usually you have to buy them individually, or they're too damn small.

Or they're just shit in general.

Something I've never seen though, is replica's of the Namekian dragon balls. I'd want some of those. 8)

What's wrong with that Shen Long? Looks pretty awesome to me, truth be told, as do Mike's dragonballs, although I wonder if they're just a bit too small.

Now THAT'S what I'm looking for! Those are real nice. By chance do you know how I can get some for myself?

Also, that shenron looks too small(and I don't like the some assembly required part).

It's not assembly required! It's broken! As in, what the statue looked like when we were first introduced to it in the series!

That's right and it's not small. It's 10 inches wide and about 9 inches high.

The thought of having life size replicas of Namekian dragon balls makes me feel something that resembles feel joy, I think. I would love to caress them.

That Shenron looks badass, now THAT'S a replica right there. It looks exactly like it did in the show, case and all.

GameStop had a preorder bonus for Dragonball Z Taiketsu back in 2003 or 2004 that gave you a 4-Star ball. I have one at home (though I didn't preorder the game, I was employed by them at the time, so it became part of my collection of free preorder crap).

I distinctly remember taking the ball while I was at work and chucking it at the ground wholly expecting it to bounce. It didn't. Whoops.

They are glass but they do look a LOT like super balls.
