Totally the revival scene at the end of the Piccolo Daimao arc. I believe the song used there is from Legend Of Shenron, and it's amazing. I almost cry each time I watch it.

I’d have to go with 'Tien's Atonement' where he breaks down in front of everyone and offers to let someone whose leg he had broken in a tournament 'break a few bones if he'd like' so Tien could get the DragonBall before someone else did.

There's no one scene in Dragon Ball that stands out as being more emotional than any other - there's a whole bunch of top-tier scenes that are more or less equal scattered throughout - but if I had to pick a favorite I think I might go for Goku's reunion with Grandpa Gohan.

Okay, seriously. It took this long for someone to say it? I'm appalled Daizex. This is pretty much the only scene that deserves to be mentioned in my opinion. Along with perhaps Goku and Goten's goodbye scene at the lookout. They stood out to me as the only genuinely sweet moments in the series. All the other "emotional" scenes were just fairly standard melodrama.

It seems you're only saying that because they aren't the common stand-out ones. Goku's farewells to Grandpa Gohan and Goten deserve to be mentioned just as much as Kuririn's first death scene or Vegeta's Final Atonement.

There's quite a few I could choose from and I can't really decide which one.

Goku's motivational speech to SSJ2 Gohan whose given up as Cell is about to destroy the Earth. That really got to me. Well, the dub anyway. I haven't watched it in Japanese admittedly.

When Goku tells everyone that Gohan and Vegeta are dead. I dunno why that got to me, but it did. Everyone's reaction to losing a loved one seemed almost... genuine.

Goku and Goten's goodbye. That was just sad.

Finally Goku Jr.'s discovery of the 4-star ball. This one is probably the biggest one I guess. I've seen this in the dub and original Japanese and it's just the most powerful for me. Goku Jr.'s rage and frustration over the Dragon Ball not granting his wish and Goku's passing the ball onto him. Just amazing, GT or not.

GT had a lot of emotional moments to me, the fact that the show is nearly at its end must be the reason. That last Genki-Dama hit, Krillin dying in front of 18, that fucking amazing ending. o.0

The special brings lots of memories too.

Not surprisingly, exactly what I thought.

On a more serious note, aside from a number of scenes that have already been mentioned here (both of Vegeta's deaths, the Goku/Goten goodbye scene), there is a particular panel of the manga that just gets me every time. I can't find a picture of it at present, but it's not long after the defeat of Cell, when Vegeta's flying away. The line is something like, "I will never...fight again..."
(I don't remember if he says anything like this in the show [read: dub] as well; I probably only saw that episode once or twice, years and years ago when I was just getting into the series [thus the dub comment; I only ever watched the Cell arc on TV and have yet to go back and watch a subbed version]. Of course I appreciate it if anyone feels like filling in the uninformed person [me].)

The whole scene gets me, really, but what sticks out in my mind without a copy to refer to is that particular panel. I thought I'd post that just because no one had yet, and it's one that has always made me pause for a moment.

Nah, Vegeta didn't give the line about never fighting again in either the dub or sub (Assuming I'm thinking of the right scene). In the Japanese version he actually does the opposite and says he needs to go training.

I was pretty sure he said it in the Japanese version. I know for a fact that he said it in the "revised" Season Six dub. The line was "I am no warrior... and I will never fight again..."
