Dragonball DVD Price Cuts

Post by Tanooki Kuribo » Thu Mar 24, 2005 12:56 am

Just want to bring this to your attention...

Big news, Dragon Ball fans: effective immediately, Funimation has lowered the MSRP on tons of Dragon Ball DVDs across all three series! If you've got any gaps in your collection (or if you've been patiently waiting to start your collection), now's the perfect time to pick up this power-packed series, and save some serious green! Here's the rundown:

Dragon Ball GT DVDs (excluding the Lost Episodes and movie) now have a retail price of $14.98!

Many Dragon Ball Z DVDs (excluding box sets, movies, the Cell Games, and Great Saiyaman sagas) now have a retail price of $14.98!

And last but not least - the Dragon Ball movie DVDs Mystical Adventure and Path to Power are now at the fantastic retail price of $9.98!

Just my luck. :x I payed an arm and a leg for most of those DVD's already, I wish I had just waited. Atleast now I have an excuse to buy Mystical Adventure.

I always thought $40 for 16 episodes was a good deal!

I suppose now is as good a time as any to buy my favorite episodes of DBZ.

It is a good deal, don't get me wrong. But a drop down to $30 would be great!

I wish all the series would release their eps. the same way that DB did, with at least 10 eps on each $40 collection. Oh except than they couldn't milk you for all you're worth with $20 3-episode DVDs that only come out 2 months at a time.

If I see you whining any more in your posts, I'm just going to boot you, and let it be the end. STOP. It's beyond obnoxious, you twerp. Every single god damn post you make is some kind of insignificant rant about how much you hate FUNimation and their business practices.

GREAT. DON'T BUY THEIR STUFF. I DON'T FUCKING CARE. Talk about the show, not how much you don't like the American domestic production company.

There are plenty of people here that are "total dubbies"; there are plenty of people here that loathe FUNimation; there are plenty of people here who fall somewhere in between; there are plenty of people here that can't care any less. What makes it so great? They all act like civilized individuals, speak properly, and don't go on constant rants about the evils of a company's actions from half a decade ago when it's totally irrelevant to the subject at hand. Take the hint.

All of the DBZ/GT DVDs that I've been buying have already been $14.98 at my local Best Buy. However I have been looking to buy Path to Power for some time now, so this price drop is exactly what I needed.

Thanks for the tip. Not only were they cheap (especially with the Canadian exchange rate being so cheap now) but they actually told me that I was getting the "Trunks: Prelude to Terror" that has episodes 106-110 on it. No other online store did that and it was so frustrating.

Thanks again!

Hey mbright220,
I just wanted to tell you, before Mike comes down on you with his mighty hammer, that you should attempt to use a little punctuation in your sentences; it will make your stay here far more enjoyable.

Just a suggestion.
