This is just a message to everyone on this board who lives in the UK and has a Dragonball Z CCG collection. Remember the times we used to buy them from shops that imported the cards from America? I have a pretty awesome collection. It seems a waste that I can't pretty much find anyone to play against, which brings me onto my next point.
If we can rally up enough people in the UK with the CCG then why don't we all meet up and stage a tournament? Would be cool to also meet up with some die hard fans too. I know we might be a little spread thin but the UK isn't huge and I'm sure some of us would be willing to make the distance. Even if your from the UK and don't have the CCG, go on ebay or somewhere on the web and buy a deck (it's a great game). Hopefully we can bring it back alive. If anywhere has the fans, it's on Daizex as this is pretty much an international community. So please don't let this topic die, keep it alive by discussing all things with the CCG and join my facebook group if your interested in meeting up to have a game. If we get a bunch of people, I'll throw in some wicked prizes for the winner.

I'm game for a general meet-up too.
If we get enough people, we should make this happen!

Sweet so far including me and a friend of mine we have 4 card gamers heh. Let's keep it coming. I can find a venue where it would be fair distance for all of us to get to. Non-card owners are also welcome as we are all Dragonball fans
To LilKokuLink and SSJSteve I suggest you get the game. Not just for the sake of this potential tournament but their great cards and a good game in general.

So can you buy these cards in decks or do you have to buy them one by one? I've seen some on eBay but only as single cards.

While I never played the DBZ card game (was always more into Pokemon there), a UK Dragon Ball meet-up sounds like fun. I'd be game for that, so long as it didn't class with expos and whatnot.

No it will be quite chilled and organised to a time when everyone will be free. I would invest in the card game if you want to join, trust me its a fun game. I also Have the gameboy version of the trading card game. Hopefully we could do it more then once if the first one is successful.
I sound like I'm a publicist for Score don't I (the card game publishers).

I don't mind buying a deck and getting involved.

That one isn't the same game. It's the reboot that Score had for a short time after GT.

Ahh nuts. Sometimes it gets confusing. And from what I've seen from it, it doesn't measure up to their original game. Also if people are considering buying the Trading Card Game for the purpose of meeting up for an unofficial tournament, may I reframe from any of you getting the GT cards. They are way too over powered and more complicated to use in my opinion.

I think I have a deck stashed somewhere which my brother left behind, you can use those if you want.

Or you could join, the more the merrier. Thanks for offering to contribute either way.
I am just itching to get this thing underway. On a side to anyone who has a PS3 and Raging Blast add me that way (Stig_007). Might be a good way to organise things that way too.

Very good advice. The different backs on the GT cards were annoying as hell too. I never tried the reboot, though. They should have just released the GT sets as DBZ expansions instead of fragmenting the user base with a "new" CCG and then fragmenting it again with a reboot.
If I lived in the UK I would definitely be interested. I still have my cards. Although, I don't I think I have a rulebook anymore...

I'm not really interested in meeting people from over the internet

.
But I suppose I might come if LilKokuLink goes, he can just take my deck (which I just found!) and I'll watch.

Yeah it would have been a lot easier if I was from America to set up this thing as I don't think Score never seriously intended a market in Europe. I remember feeling frustrated from the exclusive prizes and competitions Score ran in america and obviously I couldn't take part.
And to LilLinks Sasha, that's fair enough. It does seem quite weird when you put it that way but that's why I would recommend for anyone to join my Facebook group so we can find out a little more about each other if we ever do this thing. My name on there is Bensalem Mitchell (hopefully I appear more normal then I probably make myself out to be on here).

To be honest this thing is a long shot anywhere but I thought I'd give it a go and see if we can get enough people interested. So far I'm optimistic.
