But in every game involving Mr. Satan has had him with the jet pack so why stop now? I suppose you could argue that Videl can fly so makes more sense with the way tournaments are done. Mr. Satan can't fly and Jet-pack version is not how he really is. So Mr. Satan as commentator makes some sense.
Is Ultimate Gohan really a "key character"? Sure, he's built up that way, but he fumbles immediately. Even in the drawn-out anime, he's worth around two episodes. He may be popular, but let's face it, UG is a dud. Yeah, but at least Gotenks and Vegetto are different and unique characters. Ultimate Gohan is Gohan with more angled eyes. No new techniques, no real new look. He shows up, fights decently and loses. His role was just as important as Vegeta and Trunk's Ultimate Super Saiyan powers in the Cell saga and they were in the game.

As I said, if I was going to cut out any "key" character from the Boo arc, it would be Ultimate Gohan. I don't mind him being there, but if someone has to go, yeah, I'd pick him. If I had to streamline the Cell arc, I might have cut out USSj Vegeta and Trunks too, but that wasn't really what we were talking about.

Ultimate Gohan's non-existence in the game is a blatant sign that Raging Blast was a rush job.
But, I found, after playing Raging Blast, the fighting matches up to these games and even exceeds them, in my opinion. At first, I thought they mucked it up and 'simplified' it, but this is definitely not the case. If fighting against an opponent who knows what they're doing, you have the potential for many hours of learning and fun with this game... The what-ifs are great as well, but I do agree that the cutscenes were balls.
A 9/10 for me.
