I always wondered why Gohan told Piccolo to hide behind him and SSJ Goku, whilst we see SSJ Saiya-jin Prince Vegeta not having to guard himself behind anyone.
Piccolo is not that weak.

There's a few logical possibilities.

1) Gohan was just saying it because he's not sure how strong this shockwave will be and is being cautious.
OR
2) SSJ Prince Vegeta is comparable to Buu era (or beyond) SSJs, thus putting him significantly ahead of Piccolo.

Prince Vegeta is certainly stronger than Piccolo. At this time Piccolo is far weaker than any of his universe Super Saiyans and imagining Prince Vegeta is that as Super Saiyan than Piccolo is far weaker than him.

Thanks a million Piccolo Daimaoh, I'm going to listen to this a million times tonight and read DBM for 100th time in order to really visualize which scenes will work well as an intro and what are some things I could come up with myself. I really want to squeez in Trunks vs. Vegeta animated clip. *Drools* The mere thought of the two beating the crap out of each other gives me all types of wrongful pleasures.

One thing for sure is that the animation will end with Broly and Vegetto as they are at the end of page 4 (panel 5) through page 7 minus all the other panels which includes the characters. And it will end with a bang, literally, and then flash the logo "Dragon Ball Multiverse" I'll start notes and storyboards next month when I'm not overly busy with the up coming Kid's Comic Convention and Science of Superheros Expo.

This is going to be fun to animate since I never animated fighting sequences before. Story boarded a lot of action scene for other school projects but this one going to a challenge. But the real challenge here is the style. I gotta admit, I never liked the later DBZ look but what choice do I have here?

Well, they don't have a choice, as these pages are also going up at the start as well.

Though, it would have been nice for this one to be different than page 10 in the last panel. Have a "and that's how it happened" box instead of "let's see how this happened" which is... redundant here.
