Bought LOG2 for GBA used today. Kick ASS. Especially compared to the first one. Way better. I'm currently looking for 2 missing school kids (bus crash in west city) with Gohan level 11. I wanna go SUPA SAIYA-JIN!!!!!!

So you're playing Gohan as Great Saiyaman I assume?

Hey congrats Dayspring, I just bought it 2 weeks ago myself. I share your sentiment, LOG2 rocks. I love that old school RPG style. Have fun :D

Nah, no Great Saiyaman there. This is the Jinzoningen saga.

Here's the plot.

Gohan has to save some kids so the father of one of them, who owns a newspaper stand, will open his stand, and give him a paper. The paper is to be delivered to the owner of a fast food store, who want to read the news before he starts working. Thien he'll make you some special sandwich, which Mr. Satan wanted. Mr. Satan is having a parade, and he won't start it until he eats this sandwich. And since one of the parade wagons is blocking the way to the courtyard where Piccolo is standing, you have to get it going.
(Of course, after giving Satan the sandwich, you have to find a record as well, since the old one was too crappy for Satan's tastes.)

And no, you can't just fly over the wagon and talk to Piccolo.

Oh, and the game does rock. Just wait until you get to play as USSJ Vejita.

Here's a list of characters ranked after usefulness:

USSJ Vejita > SSJ Gohan > SSJ Vejita > USSJ Trunks > SSJ Goku > SSJ Trunks > God/Piccolo fused > Gohan > Piccolo

Piccolo is truly horrible. I didn't include SSJ2 Gohan, since there's no difference at all between him and SSJ Gohan (SSJ2 Gohan probably deals more damage, but you only get to use him in the final battle anyway)

Also, I don't really remember how good the USSJ were, so I just placed them where they might fit. Once you get the USSJ characters, you can't use any other characters until they go back to regular SSJ anyway. The only important thing to remember about this is that Vejita is always better than Trunks.

Where the beejoobies are those other two damn kids?!?! I found two girls: One in a cave and on next to the bus crash site. Where are the others?!

I like how your strength actually goes up in the game when you go up levels (you know: stats like in most RPGs), and how can you can increase each stat by one with 'capsuls'. I can't wait to play as any of the SSJ for some reason.

SSJ is a pretty nice feature, yeah.. And I don't think Piccolo is horrible. In stats, he's the best besides Gohan.. Well, I beefed him up a lot with capsules, but hell. He's got some great moves.

And USSJ sucks. Really. You only use it once in the entire game (In one fight against Cell), and it was really, really horribly bad. You move like a turtle in a coma, and the few scarce punches that actually connect might actually do some damage, if you wouldn't have gotten your ass handed to you way before that. I dropped out of USSJ almost immediately simply because I couldn't beat Cell... Thank God they revert back to normal SSJ later.

If you haven't already found them, one girl is directly to the right of the road where you started from. The boy (The newshops son) is hidden in the forrest, I think you have to pass between trees going upwards. He's surrounded by bears, but you shouldn't have too much trouble.

That spin-kick of his is NOT a great move. You can't hit crap with it. He might have good stats, but when you can't use his special attack because it's impossible to hit with, he becaomes pretty crappy.

Makankosappo might be a good attack, but you only get to use it for about 5 seconds before SSJ Vejita turns up,a nd he's way better than Piccolo. As for wasting ki on attacks once you can use it on SSJ, that's not very useful. Piccolo can also transform quickly, but without a good attack, it doesn't help him too much.

Yeah, USSJ is slow, but you can really destroy those alligators with it. Level up quickly by killing those, and Seru is easy. Until you have to fight him as Trunks, whom I didn't level up. Meh.

I used those alligators as my level-up-area until I could get through to fight the dinosaurs, which give, like, 35,000 EXP per kill.

And even then, once you hit level 40 or so, it starts taking half an hour just to level up ONE level... I still haven't beaten the game, because I want everyone at level 50 ('cuz I'm a dork). Still gotta do Piccolo; everyone else is at 50.

Plus, school is kicking my ass, and my game of choice at the moment is Oracle of Ages (even though I haven't played in a couple weeks).

You should hear my Zelda rant. It's great. But yeah, I'm really behind... mostly because I couldn't get into any of the 3D ones...

Wind Waker was disappointing, so Metroid Prime is still my favorite Gamecube game. FPS Samus, hooray!

Err, anyway, is LOG2 really that good? I played LOG1 a bit, and got bored at the punching snakes part. None of the Famicom or Super Famicom DB games ever held my interest, either (well, Hyper Dimension and Super Saiya Densetsu were sorta okay). "Fun Dragon Ball game" is a hard thing for me to fathom...

I'm going to be extremely controversial and say that I've enjoyed playing Wind Waker more than Ocarina. Possibly because I only played OOT for the first time last year, but I wanted to play and finish it before starting on Wind Waker.

And yeah, OOT has the cool time travel stuff, and Big Important Plot. But Wind Waker I just find more...charming. I dunno. I just have a big smile on my face while playing it.

You don't like 3D Zelda games? I swear, they're the best 3D adventures around. Wind Waker, Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time... Man, such memories. Even Master Quest.

That depends on how you define a good game...I really enjoyed LOG2 because it used old school RPG style gameplay, the closest thing I could compare it to is Secret of Mana for the Super Nintendo. But if you don't like those games, you probably wouldn't like this.

I loved Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (though I wish MM had more than FOUR dungeons), but to me, they're just not on par with the older 2D overhead games. They're too easy. Sure, the same puzzly goodness is there, but the monsters are scarce and much simpler to defeat. The original idea was to try to figure out what to do and where to go while also trying to survive, but 3D games have kind of eliminated the survival aspect. You have to really go out of your way to die in OoT, MM, or WW. Falling off cliffs won't even work...

I'm not saying that Wind Waker was a bad game, but for me, it just didn't live up to the way OoT debuted on N64, or LttP for SNES, etc. Just didn't have the same great impact. And all that water didn't feel like Zelda at all... Instead of running around fighting monsters on grass, you sail in a boat trying to fend off fish. There was also very few dungeons, and sunken treasure was just not as fun as all of the various places for treasures to be hidden on land.

I guess that's my rant. :?

Okay, true, I got really pissed off at all that sailing. So does everyone in the world. It's all I hear about WW. Well, I'm happy at the same time. Nobody insults those graphics anymore.

I agree, it's much harder to die, I can go through OoT without dying once now, and I died very few times in WW... I just thought it was because I have mad skills... heh.

I never beat the "Oracle" Zelda games... I made it to the final boss in both, but didn't actually beat it. Is that crazy or what... I love Link's Awakening, I beat that. LttP was great, beat it at least twice. Haven't beat the first two, but I own them, just never play them. I hate the second one, but it's got some cool music.

So, yeah. I consider myself a huge Zelda fan. Uhm, I'm kind of bored of discussing my Zelda history at this point. No more.

It's much easier to die in OoT than in Wind Waker though. In OoT, I died a few times from running out of hearts. I don't think I've done that once in Wind Waker, due to the fact that if you lose even one, spare ones start turning up in grass, pots, everything.

The graphics are great. Stupid snobs and their "it looks like the Powerpuff Girls" complaining. They are charming, adorable, everything. Link is amazingly expressive, especially when he's sidling along a wall.

Both games have those bits though that stick in your head. First becomming an adult and wandering out, seeing the spooky glow around death mountain, and finding the town all destroyed with those dead things wandering about (especially since you didn't know at the time that the redeads weren't the townpeople).

But the whole bit in Wind Waker where you go to Hyrule...that's awesome. The disturbing frozen monsters, everything in black and white, the giant statue of the "Hero Of Time", the stained glass windows showing characters from Ocarina, everything...

Yeah, the sailing gets a bit boring. But it can still be extrememly atmospheric, especially when it starts raining, or when the Zelda music is playing. Dramatic Heroic Action Happening! And you do get the warp tornadoes after a while.

And I will forever remember how BLOODY LONG it took me to find that final forth kid. Stupid annoying hiding child!

Haha... it was the kid on the tree that took me forever. I NEVER ROLLED INTO IT! I GOT ON TOP OF THE TREE AND THE KID DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! ARGHH! Oh, wait. Why am I getting pissed now? I'm totally over that... I think.

Oh, and those graphics bashers all seemed to have dissapeared the day the game came out. Seriously... it's just too bad that I can't remember any people in particular.

Jake: Zack, remember that time you thought that guy was a chick?
Zack: ...
Jake: Yeah that was so fucking funny! Honestly. What was it you said again? Something like, hey bab-
Zack: Hey, remember how you said Link was a gay cell shaded sack of shit peter pan lookalike and that WW was a crappy game before it came out?
Bob: Haha! That was you? You're such a loser, Jake.
Rob: Oh, man. You're such an idiot.
*Jake runs away crying*

That would be sweet...

Foo'!

Yeah, I was referring to the kid on the tree. Countless time wasted trying to find him, and then countless time x 100 wasted trying to knock him down.

But you actually managed to get OVER to him? How? How? For the love of god, how?
