Which will you get Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 1 or Dragon Box 3?

I'm going to get both of them. I have to show my support because the better the DBZ DBoxes sell the better chance of them releasing the DB DBoxes as well. I also really want to get kai because it'll be nice to finally watch DBZ without any fillers and stuff. Don't get me wrong I mean DBZ has some good filler stuff but theres nothing I hate more than watching majin Vegeta duel it out with Goku in a epic battle then right as it's getting good it cuts off to Goten and Trunks trying to find a place to piss.

I hate to break it to you, but the vast majority of the Majin Vegeta vs. Goku fight is filler.

I would hope he would do it himself...

Adding a DVD drive is very easy to do and the same would go for a Blu-Ray drive.

Well it may or may not be a lot but it is worth noting.

Adding a DVD drive is very easy to do and the same would go for a Blu-Ray drive.

I'm not so sure about that, with a DVD drive it seems fine but with Blu-Rays there are many factors to consider:

• - Graphics Card
  - Processor
  - Operating System
  - Hard Drive
  - Monitors and Cables (mostly for best quality experience)

These all have to be up to par with the system requirements otherwise it won't work/won't output the best quality which kind of defeats the purpose of the upgrade.
There's no point in going into detail now unless you want me to, but I still think it's worth considering.

Dragonball Kai is a very small maybe at this point, If the dub is outstanding then I know i'll be getting it when they re-release it in bigger boxsets, but if it's not then I probably won't bother with Kai at all.

I'm getting both. I have the first 2 Dragon Boxes so that's a no-brainer. I don't care if the Kai dub is absolutely horrendous. I'm just glad to be getting the Japanese version of Kai in Blu-Ray for so cheap and IT"S IN 4:3!!!

After giving it some thought, I've decided to pass on the DBoxes and purchase Kai instead. The way I see it is, I'll have a new, accurate dub with my favorite voice cast, less filler, and possibly getting the show in 4:3. I'm not gonna pretend that I dislike the dub cast, so getting Kai is the way to go for me.
All I'm worried about is the censorship.

They'll be censorship in the TV broadcast, but the DVD release will be uncut.


(I assume based on the orange box sets, the Dragon Boxes and most Anime DVDs on the market.)
