I would. Well, maybe not at first, but at some point I would give in to the little otaku inside my head and start wearing it to school, despite the obvious drawbacks.
You are a very brave man, I certanly wouldn't even dare to wear it outdoors anywhere.
Why not? Heck, if I'm gonna be a fan about something like this, I'm gonna be a fan BIG. Who cares what some random strangers on the street say? And if it's your friends that are making fun of you for it...well, they weren't very good friends to begin with, now, were they?
Reminds me of a quote from
The Office...it's a different situation...but, hey, the same principles.

I wear Dragonball shirts all the time, and I don't ever remember someone stopping me and giving me shit about it. Hell, there's no reason to be ashamed. Wear your colors with pride!

So many crazy awesome shirts! I don't think I would be too self-conscious about wearing a DB shirt around. (For goodness sakes, I'm a college student. Nothing should be able to embarrass me! Or maybe that's just science people.) At least, I wore a Pokemon shirt out last weekend and didn't care. (A "youth medium" size, I'll have you know, that I got from a Toys R Us promotion for HeartGold/SoulSilver! XD)
Maybe I would shy away from some of the bolder shirts, at least on days that I have to teach lab and want to retain a vaguely nice, professional look, but a lot of those that've been posted are classy and subtle.
Plus, you know that if anyone says anything to you about the shirt, it'll be someone who likes it! (Or a real jerk who likes to go up to people and express disapproval of them.) Sounds like a good conversation starter to me!

I went on the Uniqlo UK site and couldn't see the Dragonball shirts. Does anyone know if they'll get them in?

Nobody ever gives me any trouble for wearing Batman, TMNT, or Dragonball. Then again, I've been out of High School for about eight years.

OMG that Piccolo shirt looks SWEET!
If I had it, I would waer it ANYDAY.

If anyone gives me shit about it, I'll drop-kick them.

Next quest: Buy the Super: Broly and Super Hero Blurays, also Daima whenever that releases in the states. Also the Super Manga!
Fan of Dragon Ball Z and various other Anime since '98! ^^

The website tends to lag behind and then has a random selection, those Black + White ones are from the Shonen Magazine selection from last year

Sorry to necro-post, but my shirts arrived today from the Uniqlo UK website!

The shirts are amazing, they look brilliant.
Anyway here they are:

(Nothing on the back of this one). Both of the shirts came with a really cool tag.

Front. Shenron!

Close up.

Back of the shirt. Shenron looks amazing.

Close up.
Well that's it. Cant wait to wear them!

There's definitely one shirt I REALLY like from Uniqlo. Goku flying through on Kintoun.
It's this one:
I love how it's subtle, but still DB.
Although.. this is a men's shirt, I'd still wear it!

I went to the Uniqlo site but I couldn't find anything dragon ball related. Where did you find these?

That Goku flying on Kinto'un T-Shirt is awesome. I might consider actually wearing that one out.

The tag on my Dragonball shirt has a very good saying, "A t-shirt is more than just a t-shirt. It's an expression of who you are. What you love."

Yes, that shirt is quite awesome. Too bad it looks like we can't buy them in the U.S. yet. On an unrelated note, I checked out your livejournal and youtube channel and you have one of the coolest figure collections I have ever seen. Your voice is easy on the ears too.

That's a shame, I'd love to purchase some of these.

Absolute bullocks!
I hope they sell these tees in the US soon. There's a Uniqlo store here in NYC and if they get them I'm so buying those shirts. Well, at least one.
