It couldn't be that different. Other than the removal of lines like Raditz's "You can all go to Hell!" and the few other times they swear, I can't think of anything else that'd be different. Unless the light swearing is going to be on the TV version, and what we saw at the cons was the TV version. :O

If that turns out to be the case... Then I'll be all "doki-doki, waku-waku" again. Lol.

Nah, that was the uncut version. Nicktoons isn't going to allow "You can all go to Hell" to be said in one of their shows.

I'm going to try and avoid the TV version as much as possible...

You sure Piccolo Daimaoh? Cartoon Network allowed Gohan's penis and people saying damn, Hell, and bastard, didn't they? What else could this huge difference be??

And after that one and only "Ultimate Uncut" run, they went right back to showing the censored Ocean dubbed episodes.

I dunno. Nicktoons have shows like "The Fairly Odd Parents" and "Speed Racer" which are pretty tame compared to uncut Dragon Ball Kai.

Plus, "You can all go to hell" is pretty vulgar, even for Cartoon Network.

Then what's the huge difference? Maybe the version shown at the cons was actually a "con version"...? It would be simple enough to splice the two version together. But... it was on a DVD or BD. :/ Though, I guess it could've been specially made (as unlikely as it is).

That One Piece OP of his sounds fantastic.
And I just found (and am listening to right now) his version of Itsuki's Hare Hare Yukai...in Japanese!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42hLyyqFx3w

I've tried and failed so many times to sing songs in Japanese and here he is pulling it off as if it's his native language! That's impressive! O_O

(It also makes me want to give singing a Japanese song another shot. This is inspiring.)

Maybe I'll try a slower song to practice singing...?

It's nicktoons, dude, come on.

If there was swearing and the blood that's normally there in Kai, it's the uncut.

Not to mention "Makankosappo"

Purple blood is probably no big deal for Nicktoons, and Makankosappo isn't a huge difference either. Regarding swearing though, I have no idea what it's like in their other shows. I don't have that channel.

You should. Is Fukai Mori by Do As Infinity too fast for you? That was the first Japanese song I ever sang. I had to try it a few times till I got it right though. lol

Haha, parents weren't happy about that, though.

But they do describe and discuss it in graphics detail...

They do? I've never heard a rape story in the news that sounded like a transcribed literotica story.

I haven't heard that song in forever. X3
*Recalls that series and is all nostalgic*. :3

That is the type of speed I'm looking for. I may try that one (found the lyrics) and a few others.

What time they air it and whether any sort of adult programming is on the channel in the first place is a factor. The DBZ you speak of aired right before Adult Swim.

Well, maybe a it is an exaggeration, but anyone with an imagination can easily picture what happened. I have seen programs on stations like MSNBC on the weekends which are entirely about certain cases or events which do describe things in pretty deep detail though.

Was it? Well, I didn't watch it, so I wouldn't know. Once I saw how awful it was, I made sure to steer clear of it.

Hopefully the lyrics you found are accurate. I remember back in the day I found lyrics that went "foku-tachi wa"

That song's probably the most nostalgic song for me. It (along with the accompanying animation) is what got me into the Japanese language, culture, and anime (especially Inuyasha).

I wonder if I would've still watched DB in Japanese had I not seen/heard that ending...?
