Well, it might be listed somewhere there in the forum rules, but I think you are allowed to plug in a link to your site or whatever in your signature, just not make topics about it, since that would be considered off-topic/spam.
I was voted "most unique" and "most likely to become the next existential thinker" in high school.

But, like Pinhead said, just don't post a thread about it. Tis spam for one, and for two it'd be off-topic since there's no real 'general' board (the two we do have are 'DB genera' and 'site general'.)
