Upcoming DBZ Reference In The Boondocks: S3
It appears that in the the third (and final) season of The Boondocks, there will be an episode where Huey Freeman will try to stop a fireball attack a la DBZ.
It happens at around the 1:36 mark http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwbH_RYF ... r_embedded

I managed to see the trailer when they brought it out. I'm looking forward to this season of the Boondocks, but here's hoping it isn't the last like they're saying.
As for that part, I want to say that DBZ reference could be a fight between Huey and Bushido Brown, or another fight with Colonel H. Stinkmeaner

I think Tom Dubois of "The Boondocks" said it best for me when FUNimation announced the release of the domestic Dragonbox, after buying all of the Season Sets: "MOTHERFUCK!!! SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT, PRICKS, SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIIIIIIIT!"

I thought the Boondocks ended a long time ago.

Looks like that "fireball" may be a dodgeball or a kickball considering come of the other clips near that part.
Re: Upcoming DBZ Reference In The Boondocks: S3
Well, Aaron McGruder is a huge anime fan, and Huey is a skilled martial artist, so it wouldn't surprise me that there'd eventually be a DBZ reference.
Oh, and season 3 is the last season? Damn. Then again, we would've had to wait another 3 years for Season 4, so whatever.

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I bought Season 1 & 2 on DVD. Season One was good, Season Two was alright, and I have hopes that Season Three will be better.

I don't really think this is a reference to Dragon Ball...
Anyway I'm pretty surprised they are finally going to be releasing season 3. I have been waiting for ever!

As awesome as Jay Electronica is, that dodgeball scene might be a little too generic to pin it as a DB reference.

Honestly I don't think they are referencing this to anything at all.
