That's a really quiet video. I have my laptop sound and Youtube sound maxed and I can barely hear it.

Hey guys, I compiled those youtube clips that DragonballZKaiDubClips had uploaded before FUNI told him to take them down. I also ripped the new 5 short clips from Nicktoons.

My thoughts on the Kai dub: Well I certainly enjoy the new lines, the tv edition could be painful if we knew we weren't going to get a uncut, bilingual blu-ray and DVD release. Bulma's line is the most noticeable one, you can actually see where they switched frames during that scene and turned a line " We don't need him, we can still party!", into something that sounded similar to the old Dbz dub. I'm really looking forward to the uncut dub, with the youtube clips that have been shown so far (there may be more surfacing from someone else, you never know). Oh yeah and Freeza still sounds way too annoying, though Young did lighten up on the laugh, still miles away from Nakao's iconic laugh.

Oh and is Dailymotion less anal about uploading clips from shows then Youtube? I'm thinking about uploading all these clips on there, as a second method of seeing them.

You could upload them to Youtube, just don't put any Dragon Ball or anime related tags or words in the title and description.

You could make them titled something completely irrelevant, or in 1337 ("[)R@60/\/ 8@|_|_ Z |<@1 C|_1P ()/\/3") and post the link to the account here.

If I were you, I'd take out the (Uploaded by dbzkaidubclips originally) out of the video title.

The titles of his videos had nothing to do with Dragon Ball, it was his name.

Putting that in the video title could very well get you taken down.

Yes, and did the file names have Dragon Ball or DBZK in the names? If so, I think they could also find them that way. I also did a quick search on YouTube, and during the search results, your uploads appeared and they weren't titles backwards in the results, but that may be due to the results not being updated yet if you originally named them normally.

On another note, after listening again to the clear audio of the Nicktoons clips, I would have to say that the new narrator sounds like a cross between Doc Harris and Brice Armstrong. He actually also works well in the same way the Japanese does; a grandfather reading a bedtime story to his grandson. Much better than Herbert and whoever the hell the narrator was for GT (he was also by far the most inappropriate narrator, either him or Dale Kelly... What was his name, Andrew Chandler or something?) in terms of accuracy.

The voices sounded all right. I was less than thrilled to hear Freeza's familiar old dub laugh. Maybe she'll bring a better performance this time, but I'm guessing it'll be more of what we've come to expect from the dub. Time will tell, though.

I might have a look at the Kai dub (and its TV censor job) as a novelty, just to see how they handle certain scenes. Like Mike and others have said, having the Dragon Box Z sets and knowing that the home release of Kai will be unedited, we can rest easy.

We know what happens to Goku in his adventures by now, but we can still sit in suspense, waiting to see how the censoring crew get themselves out of trouble each week!

My interest in the dub's limited because I don't care much about Kai, but this might be the first respectable English Dragon Ball product since the first three Z movies. I wasn't impressed with Bardock, but that's very easily forgivable considering that Bardock isn't exactly the most prominent character. Freeza still sucks. Goku, Gohan, Chichi, Krillin, and Bulma are perfectly fine. Radditz was okay. Farmer With Shotgun is the best one, I liked the Southern inflection at the end of "What do you want?" Script seems okay for the most part, though it's too early to tell (The original Dragon Ball's script seemed good to me at first glance, it's not as blatant a hackjob as Z's or GT's, but eventually I realized that it's a poor translation itself). Things seem fine in that respect minus Yamucha's crime going from a nondescript squabble to outright cheating, there's nothing that grated on me. A passable dub from the looks of it so far.

The original line is of a nondescript squabble, the Saban and Nicktoon line is, basically, "He went out with another girl!" and the uncut Kai dub is, basically, "He can date as many other girls as he wants." So what exactly is who editing? Maybe I'm just really tired at 3 in the morning, but it seems like you're misinterpreting his complaint. I understood it to read that he was annoyed at Kai in general for bastardizing Yamucha's character, rather than a slight line tweaking of that same bastardization.

I don't know. It's possible, but I think it was a time cut. Simply saying "He went out with another girl!" was much quicker than the whole rant she went on.

The line was still pretty vague, and she never outright said he cheated on her as Dr. Casey stated. For all we know, Yamcha could have simply looked at another girl and Bulma could have assumed incorrectly and "dumped" him, or she could have said she didn't care who he went out with because she was "through" with him.
