Actually a lot of people haven't heard of Neko Majin. And you were a newbie once too. You'd do well to remember that.

Heh, I can't judge 'Trunks', I didn't know who Neko Majin was until I started posting on this board, either. I figure unless you search out the Japanese comics of a single author, you kind of live in your little corner of the universe without intrusion.
At the end of the day, it's always better to let a little Majin, in. (Heh.)

What the Hell are you talking about?

I knew what the show was before it aired, but it was Ian Corlett, Scott McNeil, and Jason Gray Stanford that clinched my love for the show. I'll always be a dubbie. Except not in the typical way. I'll always have a sentimental place in my heart for being a 9th grade kid getting up at 6:30 am on Saturdays to watch the first season, but then there's 22-year-old Mike who couldn't care any less what FUNimation's treatment is :P.

I'll never tire of that quote...

I, for one, was one of the original dubbies. I used to watch the Harmony Gold dub when I was like 2 or 3.

And is my area the only one that never aired DB shows really early in the morning?

Well, good for you. A lot of people haven't, however.

Hell, I didn't know about Dr. Slump when I became a DBZ fan. That does not suddenly disqualify me from fandom. I also like Sailor Moon and Sailor V by Takeuchi Naoko, but I don't follow or know about her other works.

-_- I see my point went completely over your head. So, you came right out of your mother's womb, already knowing all about DB and Neko Majin and Akira Toriyama did you? You had to discover him and his works and learn about him just like everyone else. Therefore, you were also once a newbie. That's what I meant.

I didn't know about NMZ until I started posting here either. Nor did I even know about any of Toriyama-sama's other works. And, while I did know that DBZ was originally Japanese, the dub was the first thing I saw (and all I saw up until around Vegeta Vs. Semi-Perfect Cell). Hell, I can even remember at the beginning, when I first started watching the dub on Toonami, I didn't even know anything had been cut or that any of the dialogue had been changed. ^^;

I think Sand Land is the best of his recent works, that's not a Gag-comic!!! Whooo hooos!!! Belz is my favorite!!! He reminds me of Piccolo!!!

Dude, (or dude-ette?) one exclaimation mark gets hte point across just fine.

Apart form DB/Z, I think that Toriyama-sensei's best other manga is Neko Majin. For one reason: Vegeta. I laughed my ass off at him :lol:
