The price is high though!

Never thought that I would see it on eBay.

That's why you get it now. You buy collectibles early. In 5 years that's going to cost you more than $99 to get your hands on it.lost in thought wrote:Heh.
Personally, I wouldn't spend $99 on that now, so much as I would 5 years from now, or more; with these things- you've really got to give it time to age. You know, since DragonBall Z just finished it's run how long ago? [Note: Rhetorical question.]
(Also: I take back the piece of shit crack... heh.)
No, I wouldn't have. What good would a persons signature be, if you don't know if it will have any worth down the road? Most people only buy collectable items because the person is already highly recognized for one reason or another, not on the off chance they will have a reputation that exceeds their years.Xyex wrote:So then, if you lived in Japan 20 years ago, and right as the first issue of DB came out you had a chance to get a copy signed Toriyama-Sama, without any knowledge of how big it'd get, and for the price of $100 (american, obviously)... you wouldn't have done it? I don't look at what something like that costs now but what it'll cost years later.
Thats why I have no intention of selling my Kyle Hebert autograph.Mizugi wrote:If you're a fan of the dub, though, it'd be an awesome collectable to hold on to. You should get it because you want it, not because you want to sell it.
