I was hoping for a cover similar to the Super Exciting Guides...

Also, I prefer "happy" Goku over "battle-ready" Goku, but that's just my preference.

I quite like the cover. Nothing flashy, sure, but it SCREAMS "Dragon Ball." Plus, I think it's a good drawing/cool picture.

Not the best cover but certainly not the worst I've seen. I'm more interested in what's inside. After I brought the Akira Toriyama Art Exhibition (1993), I can't believe any other DB related illustration book can top that.

Like how all the kai covers and just a character on a simple white background. Its new drawings, they should jazz it up some.

I also shrunk the his right iris a bit, because it was also quite large. The lighting is also a bit different than usual, so that probably also has something to do with it.

I agree on it being the nose. The official one lacks the typical shape and shading I'm used to seeing there.

Yeah the cover is a bit awkward looks more like fanart....But anyway I'm surprised they're including SSj4 I'm sorta happy that it made it in,idk why though maybe because I dont Hate GT.

Any friends in NYC wanna pick up the new books for me...? Shipping from Japan for the two of them was ~$30-35, which was more than the cost of the two books, themselves . Without any credit on Amazon Japan, it's just not the highest priority for me right now.
