Actually I work very hard to make experiences with people as stressfree as possible in real life...so I guess that's where the particularity comes from...? As far as I'm concerned my intentions were only to help you from making the mistake again in the future.

That was kind of off topic but it happened recently and all this talk about dub actors using the original terminology reminded me of it. Maybe I was just hearing things, but I swear he said it.
Yeah, he did except he pronounced it "Tayo-ken".

Yup, again with the mispronunciations. But I wonder what happened? Someone didn't spot check it. Didn't with the typos either in the game. Hopefully they keep Taiyo-ken in Z Kai and actually say it right.

If I had just read it without the accent and without hearing it pronounced correctly beforehand, I would have pronounced it the same way. I wonder why that's in the game. It really makes no sense. I guess somebody forgot to reversion that one line and Stephany just read it as is.

Yeah, seriously. I wonder why she didn't step up and say something about it. Maybe she just didn't care. :P But it says Solar Flare right at the bottom of the screen! Just another weird game error.

Yeah, that is weird.

I think BT2 uses "Sokidan" on the actual screen but when you use the attack, Yamcha says "Spirit Ball".

It's not Taioken. It's not Tayoken. It's Taiyoken.

And the games shouldn't be looked at as a go-to resource for technique names, anyway. In the original Budoukai they Kaiouken was called the King Kai Fist.

After hearing Schemmel sing "Jacking off into a Sock" and doing a trailer for a made up movie called "Tough Shit" *starring Eddie Murphy, Arnold Schwarzenegger and a sewer*, I can imagine it, lol.

Should be a fun dub, in any case.

Don't know about that. Kinda missed the conversation on swearing, but you know how a lot of times the radio version of a song sounds better than the album version with lots of swearing? Might be like that.

First off, those weren't my words. Those were Piccolo Daimaoh's words. I replied to him correcting the both of them.

Second, when one person says one thing wrong and then another comes along and corrects him with more misinformation, don't you think the right thing to do is set the record straight? The English-speaking Dragonball community is so full of misinformation as it is that there are people trying to create their own Dragonball Wiki because the current go-to one is just that horrible.

I didn't have any sort of bad ego-boosting intentions. I wasn't trying to out-nerd anyone for the biggest e-penis. I just came along and set the record straight before getting onto my real point, which you seemed to have completely ignored in your misquote.

Get off my ass. I'm not about to pick a fight on here.

I've only got a youtube for that one song:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kYKlTN1hBc

The rest of his stuff is on his myspace:

http://www.myspace.com/seanschemmel

Cracked me up personally. Should make a ring tone for it.

I'd love to interview Sean some day. Then again, unless he doesn't mind a special episode, it'd be hard to get him on a Green Lantern podcast, lol (must learn to settle not talking to some entertainment people I like until I finally start going to cons).

The improved script and acting should make up for some of the more badly re-animated scenes in Kai, lol.

I was referring to the fact that you are the second person to correct somebody over the same thing in the same conversation.

Yes, yes. We all love each other here, right? Right??... :<

That song... I'm afraid to listen to it. Hahaha. Why can't Schemmel sing Dragon Soul and put that up instead?

I meant that's how GT Goku in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 pronounced the attack name.
