Should be a fun dub, in any case.
Woah, you can't say shit like that and not provide a link man, that's just cruel.
I've only got a youtube for that one song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kYKlTN1hBc
The rest of his stuff is on his myspace:
http://www.myspace.com/seanschemmel
Cracked me up personally. Should make a ring tone for it.
I'd love to interview Sean some day. Then again, unless he doesn't mind a special episode, it'd be hard to get him on a Green Lantern podcast, lol (must learn to settle not talking to some entertainment people I like until I finally start going to cons).
The improved script and acting should make up for some of the more badly re-animated scenes in Kai, lol.
Oh ... my ... god! Listen to his fake "Piss in a Bag" commercial on the Myspace page. It's even funnier because all I hear is Goku saying it. Brilliant!

I doubt we're
all friends. You can practically smell the dislike some people have for certain members of this board.
Dragon Ball may hold us together, but it doesn't seem to make us all friends.

Innagadadavida, you are completely out of line. If you're trying to be funny or sarcastic with any of your responses, it's clearly being lost on the general posting population. If you're trying to say something specific, maybe you're best of really spelling it out, since you seem to be incapable of sending the message through vague humor.
You wrote something incorrectly. People nicely chimed in with a bit of correction. No-one went "HEY DUDE DUH WHY DON'T YOU SHUT UP AND DON'T EVEN BOTHER POSTING 'CUZ YOU'RE SO DUMB!"
What on Earth is the problem with that? The only problem is your reaction(s). Clean it up now.
As for everyone else, if you don't have something to say about the dubbing process or final product as it relates to FUNimation and DragonBall Kai, please find another thread to post it in.

So when does DB Kai actually start airing on Nicktoons?
Look on the bright side guys, even if its awful, it will at least be something interesting to talk about.

I'm considering watching episodes on my tv along side on my laptop, to compare the two versions. Should be a blast.
Based on what we've heard so far, and what we know of improvements for the dub, which specific scene are you most looking forward to see dubbed?

May 24, apparently.
There's
always something interesting to talk about with this fandom.

I believe it's supposed to be May 24th starting at 8PM with a double-episode premier. Feel free to correct me on that if I'm way off base. I'm mostly looking into the home release.

"A person shitting in reverse" lol.
And that ninja was voiced by the same person who did Dawn in Pokemon.

I want to hear Kienzan dubbed, and also the whole conversation between Goku and Vegeta about Vegeta being an elite and Goku being a "left-behind". I doubt that's exactly what wording they'll use, but anything beats their old "I could use a good man with Nappa gone, here's one more chance to join me" nonsense.

Because we watch Pokemon, don't we.
The only good thing about Pokemon is the games.
The anime should have stopped after season one. Although the anime is part of why we have so many games.

This is severely off-topic (and I'm contributing to it), but so what? I don't like the anime (I vastly prefer the Adventures/Special manga), but you almost make it sound like you're it's wrong to watch it just because you don't like it(that seems to be what you are implying)...
LOL, what is that from?

Well, he just bought up Pokemon, which wasn't really a part of the thread. I was just telling him to stay on topic in my backwards ass way.

Yeah, because watching a children's show is
so lame.

Well, yes, one intended for children, with a 4kids dub.
The Pokemon anime died a long time ago.

Both Dragon Ball Z and Pokemon are intended for children and 4kids isn't dubbing Pokemon any more.

If it "died" a long time ago, how come it's still airing on Cartoon Network?

Pokémon is a zombie now!
And yay, I finally ordered Kai from Right Stuf! It took me a while, but last night I realized that Dragon Box Z volume one isn't going to last me till Kai ends up on sale somewhere.

Folks, one last time:
If you don't have something to say about DragonBall Kai and its dub from FUNimation, please do not post it in this thread. I love Pokemon as much as the next person, but it has absolutely nothing to do with what's being discussed.
