And while most people on this forum, myself included, are pulling for over eight thousand, it's clear that not all of us want it.

Lessee... Hadn't we already confirmed the pronunciation of Saiyan with the con showing?

I'm trying to think of what could be so important in the first thirteen episodes that's a big thing that we all want to see...

Saiyan is indeed Seiyan.

Maybe it'll be Kaioh's voice, or his name, or Shen Long gets to be Shen Long instead of Shenron...?

Outside of recastings, I can't think of any other big news for the dub. We've all already heard how they're handling things, and it's much better than before, so what could surprise us?

Chris Sabat mentioned awhile back that "everybody wins" with that one. We assumed that it'd be "9000" on TV and "8000" on DVD.

This new secret was said to be BIG and SHOCKING.

Well, I'm just grasping at straws here!

It would look inconsistent as shit (as if both DBZ and Kai didn't already), but I wouldn't care. I'd applaud FUNimation and buy 6 copies.

Maybe it's about where it's airing. We know that it's airing on Nicktoons, but didn't Colleen Clinkenbeard say something about it airing on CN, as well? We all took it as a mistake she made, but perhaps she knew more than we thought.

I really cannot think of what else would shock us. We're already pretty shocked that the dub clips we saw were actually pretty decent.
